Dinky Doo is growing up.

Now that the dust of her first adventure has settled, she is resuming her life as a seemingly ordinary unicorn schoolfilly. She is discovering more and more of herself everyday, mostly in the form of her unique wind magic, the sole inheritance left to her by her late alicorn father.

Lately, though, she feels trapped.

To answer her distress, a mysterious visitor descends upon the busyness of the impending Summer Sun Celebration. He promises her that she can be more than the unremarkable ponies around her. He proposes a price for his generosity, which is not one that she can afford to pay. But when tragedy strikes, she finds that she has no more to lose.

Anon was in Ponyville Park looking at all the mares and stallions playing with their foals. How long has it been since he was mysteriously bright to Equestria? He missed all of the friends and family he left behind on Earth.

Of course, he did like the many creatures in Equestria, nothing hurt more than missing his loved ones back on Earth. But when Derpy and Dinky see him in the park...maybe they can help bring back his happiness.

After being constantly left alone because of her husband's work, Derpy often has to play the role of a single mother. We get to see how Derpy's life unfolds as a mother of two kids and the wife of a Time Lord.
