Sunset waited outside the assembly hall, gazing down at her hands. Her mind was going over the spell again and again, remembering what the Princess had said, so long ago.
Behind the doors she could hear, even feel, the rumble of conversations inside the large room. No doubt everyone there knew what they wanted to say and do to her.

When Sunset Shimmer realized that the real reason the school had acted as it had was because of her past actions—and her willingness to pretend they had never happened—she decided to put an end to the whole thing.
Anon-a-miss.
The past.
And the hurt she had caused others.

After the betrayal of her friends over the new rumors of Anon - a -Miss, Sunset finds herself stranded in a school that now hates her. But as she continues to persevere through the harrowing school days, she starts to see that not everything is perhaps as dark as she once made it out to be. Even if her own friends don't believe her, that doesn't mean there aren't others that do.

Various short stories based on the Anon - a - Miss story line that I've been so enthralled with, but done in a far lighter tone than most of the stories I tend to come across on the topic. Events will be altered slightly, as well as an addition of a Suicide tag which is for a later chapter, which will be warned in advance.

Apple Bloom and the rest of the Crusaders originally created Anon-a-Miss to frame Sunset Shimmer by posting embarrassing secrets about her sister and her friends so they can kick Sunset out of the group so Apple Bloom can spend more time with her sister. But after Apple Bloom got what she wanted, she actually felt... torn, mostly guilty for what she did to her sister and to Sunset Shimmer. And then things were spiraling out of control in school as students were fighting each other as more secrets were posted online.

During the chaos on school grounds, Apple Bloom hid in the class room, lamenting about her past actions. While she was deep in thought, she was suddenly visited by an unexpected visitor.

This is a one shot Anon-a-Miss story.

The gang at CHS have lived with the guilt of their actions, relieved that Sunset survived but desperate to break the ice wall she built between them.

Just when they thought hope was lost, Sunset contacted them and later agreed to meet with them.

Anon-A-Miss has become a plague on the halls of Canterlot High. Students are on the brink of a fight every day and tensions are rising in order to stomp out Anon-A-Miss before the winter break.

With no-one in Canterlot High to turn to, Sunset Shimmer braves it alone and decides to pull out her old blackmailing tools in order to get the job done. It might be illegal, but it's the school's last hope for order to be restored.

Anon-A-Miss. They happened, people were hurt, the mess was cleaned up, people are begrudgingly forgiving the trio responsible, if only for Sunset, and everyone in the school is starting to become friends again. The problem was solved, right?

Not if you ask Rainbow Dash. She's still pretty mad at herself about it, after getting all the details shown to her. So are her friends, just slightly less so than her.

Yes, this is another Anon-A-Miss story, but at least it doesn't happen during the fiasco like nearly every other one I've read. I was considering a way I could write a story about the entire thing that wasn't done to death. Then I realized there weren't many stories that followed this particular line of thought, so I went with it to see what would happen when it was filtered through my brain.
