Quiet mornings before school starts can be lonely, but peaceful. For some people, they're a good time to just breathe and prepare themselves for the day ahead. Fluttershy and Adagio Dazzle find themselves doing this in the same place at the same time, in their own ways.

Cadence is used to helping ponies with romance problems. So when she finds out that Discord and Celestia's past is basically an ancient love tragedy, she goes out of her way to give them a happy ending, or a new beginning at the least.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, this is the Alicorn of the Day and the Lord of Chaos. She probably should have realized they'd prank her for putting them in a pocket-dimension.

Tirek does not get Discord's magic. Unexpectedly, neither does Discord. Instead, it heads off to a new host, one currently lacking her usual magic and in dire need of some. Why her? Who knows! Discord doesn't, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like what he sees.

Celestia is now Equestria's local reality warping creature of Chaos. And she's rather good at it. Thankfully, she's still the Celestia they all know and love. So, as long as her friends and family give her a little nudge whenever she gets a little too crazy, things should work out fine. Right?

Discord's been settling in, if you can call anything Discord does "settling", to life as Fluttershy's housemate. He's friends now with both Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, he's become an extraordinarily annoying second mentor for Twilight, he and Celestia are even making attempts to repair their old friendship. But what comes as close as Discord can get to "ordinary" life is haunted by a secret he's not willing to share with any of his new friends. He's been exiled from the Q Continuum because he's on trial. And there's a very significant chance they're going to take his powers away.

Crossover with Star Trek: The Next Generation, though don't expect to see much of the TNG characters or see the crew of the Enterprise interact with the ponies. Part of my "Next of Kin to Chaos" series, where Discord is Q. This is what happens immediately prior to and during the TNG episode "Deja Q" from the perspective of Discord's pony friends. Or, why would someone take refuge with "the closest thing" they have to a friend when they have actual friends they could go to instead?

Twilight is alone in her castle shortly after the defeat of Tirek, feeling as intimidated by her new-found home as she has been since its sudden appearance. As Twilight indulges in the mountains of books provided by the ruler of Equestria herself, little does she know she is about to receive a very unusual visit from an equally unusual Draconequus.

How will Twilight react to Discord's visit? After all, Twilight is unsure as to whether she has yet forgiven him for his recent betrayal.

It's that time of the month again! NO! Not that time. I mean the time when the mane six have their sleepover where they watch movies, eat pizza and act like fillies. But this time, Twilight may have to pull out at the last minute... (Not like that, you dirty minded *grumbles*)

I'm aware the characters may be off as I wrote this very impulsively in about an hour.

Obviously Three's a Crowd got us all thinking about DiscoLight again, traditionally I ship Fluttercord but I had to make an exception because I needed to see these two together. I'm sick of the teasing, lets get down to some action, huh?
