Equestria never thought they'd see the day. Pinkie Pie, the happiest pony in the world, refuses to smile. Many questions arise. What has caused this state of depression? Will a smile ever cross the pink pony's face? Who can help?
This takes place after the events of I Found Love: Discord and Twilight.

Pinkie finds herself with feelings she thought long since buried one day after yet another rejection from Sunset. She finds an outlet in her shy friend during their daily call.

Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

What does it mean to be Pinkie Pie? What does it mean to dedicate an entire life to bringing others joy? The truth is that it means forgetting her own. Eventually, a lonesome, deprived heart and an isolated mind will always take their toll. For Pinkamena Diane Pie, that crisis comes suddenly, as she realizes, in the one place she thought she was safe from the world, that she has unwittingly faced herself with a decision that might well be her last -- and she has no idea of what she wants.

Pinkie Pie undergoes an emotional crisis during the events of 'Party of One", struggling with the difficult idea that her friends don't truly care for her and her life is not as it once seemed. A spiraling chain of events occurs that threatens the group dynamic.
