Based on Letters from an Irritated Princess by Tired Old Man, written in the same format, with the same sort of thing going on more or less, but, with said letters written by the Evil Empress, Daybreaker herself, instead of her goody-goody counterpart. Permission for this was given to me by Tired Old Man himself!

Ah, letters. To some, letters are a means for friendly, long distance communication. To others, they are a way of informing you that you are late on your monthly payment. But, for Empress Daybreaker? Well, they're a way of expressing displeasure, annoyance, evil amusement, ransom demands, and other things.

Basically, they're for making her subjects twitch in fear. Lots of fear. Whether it be of her wrath, or the horrors her evil mischieviousness will bring to her subjects.

When Shining Armor and Cadance come to Canterlot to celebrate the anniversary of their wonderful wedding with Twilight Sparkle and her friends, they are visited by a strange stallion who desperately needs their help. Surprisingly, the strange visitor is Shining Armor from an alternate world where the Canterlot Wedding was a complete disaster. In that world, the betrayal of her loved ones and the deaths of both Cadance and Queen Chrysalis drove Twilight mad and caused her to succumb to her darkest emotions and become Equestria’s newest and most dangerous enemy: Midnight Sparkle. Allied with King Sombra and the Crystal Empire, she has waged a vengeful and merciless war against all who do not support her. Do Twilight and her friends have what it takes to save a world where certain events happened differently from those in their world?

Words can hurt. Sometimes, that hurt is permanent.

One too many accidents results in a falling out between you and Rainbow Dash, the mare of your dreams, and your friendship with her lies on the brink of destruction. Twilight suggests a vacation to clear everyone's head. Could this be your last chance to make amends, or will you spend the rest of your life filled with regret?

Alternate Universe for wingless Princess Twilight. Might just change this out, because it's a pointless change, tbh. :)

This is a story I've been fantasizing about in my head for a while now. It's had some changes in its development for later chapters to make sense.

She's perfect, absolutely perfect. Or I once thought that, Princess Celestia was my world, my idol, my role model, but once Queen Chrysalis defeated her with such ease I began to doubt this world's current Alicorns and rulers. If the powerful Celestia couldn't defend her own ponies, what does that say about the rest of us? As the newest Alicorn to come into being; I fear for us all. Then a voice spoke to me...

If they can't protect your friends and those closest to you...shouldn't you?

Something lurks in the shadows, they search for me, and I fear...I search for them.

This story is a sequel to If You Came to Conquer

Princess Nightmare Moon had tried to keep it secret. She had suppressed her power, feigned ignorance, played the outdated fool at every opportunity. She should have known that something like this would happen. A threat that would reveal her, whether she played dumb or not.

If she had to reveal herself, then at least she could protect Equestria in the process. She nocked the arrow. The bow felt so flimsy, but she could not risk him absorbing a spell. She laced magic across the arrow and the string and the air, enough to make it fly faster and aim smoother. She sighted him easily; Tirek was a large target. Now he only had to turn around. An arrow to the spine would kill him simply and instantly, no matter how much magic he had absorbed.

Once he was dead, the hard part would come: explaining herself to Celestia.

This story is a sequel to The Lunar Apprentice

Celestia won. Her Royal Guards defeated Nightmare Moon and her army of rogue Lunar Guards. The Shadowbolts were driven underground, and the Lunar Apprentice is dead. And what has victory brought?

Hell.

The Elements of Harmony are separated and useless. The renegade forces of the New Lunar Republic are hidden in the shadows, free to move and strike at will. Confidence in Celestia's rule has been shaken throughout Equestria. Half the Royal Guard is out of commission, and the changeling army is on its way.

Every loose thread is being pulled on; it's only so long before the tapestry unravels.

Celestia may have won the battle, but she also unleashed the Night Terrors. And Equestria may not survive them.

Update 10/14/2015: Featured! Glad Night Terrors is proving to be as strong as its predecessor. A major thank you to all fans and followers!

To right a wrong of long ago, Princess Celestia and Luna use their magic to return an exiled pony during the spring starfall festival.

Please note: This is the original story released on DA over 2 years ago and - despite how hard I tried to give it a connection to FiM then - it didn't really stand the test of time. Still, even with all its issues, this was my first fic for MLP and I wanted to give it a permanent home on here.

This story lead to the prequel Dominion of the Night, the spin-off Nightfall, and multiple other stories that have yet to be released. Even so, Starfall was originally a stand-alone story so you won't need to read anything else beforehand. Also, because this story is mostly unedited (and was my first attempt at really writing a full blown fic), it has numerous grammatical mistakes. I've touched it up in places, but some sections would require complete rewrites which would be a bit too much work.

Last but not least, the story centers around an OC of mine named Star Flare which is clearly a mary sue. Love her or hate her, she is what she is. /shrug

tldr; version: is the original story, has a mary sue, only has touch-up edits

Whenever Twilight no longer has a use for something, she often teleports it away without thinking of a destination. This results in the item being lost forever. But where do these objects actually go? Twilight resolves to find the answer to this question and discovers a strange room disconnected from the rest of Equestria where various objects have been banished to throughout the ages. Some of them were banished for a good reason, such as the tome on necromancy. And it turns out that the skeleton of a pony that she found isn't quite as dead as she thought, and now has access to a portal into the rest of Equestria. But is the necromancy practicing pony truly so evil?

Special thanks to DragonShadow, who pre-read and helped me revise this story. Thanks also to JofY, who gave suggestions for the second revision.

The comments are full of unmarked spoilers, so watch out.
Obviously, this contains massive spoilers for the season 2 episode "The Mysterious Mare Do Well," and one must have seen it before this story will make much sense.
Rated Teen for violence and some blood.
