Saying goes that in the Equestrian Wasteland, no hero lives forever.

History has shown time and time again that even the most promising of uprising heroes may fall to the wasteland. Temptation is lurking left and right, and once one has given in; has embraced the insanity of the Equestrian Wasteland, it's very hard, maybe even impossible, to get back on the path of light.

This is the story of how Equestria's favorite and most well-known heroine fell to the wasteland - and of what happened in the years after.

After a mirror portal field trip being conducted by Luna goes terribly wrong, Ocellus finds herself trapped in a strange palace far from home. That palace, once abandoned, is now infested with a hive of love-starved changelings intent on using her only way home as a means to invade her world.

Otherwise, Ocellus appears to be alone.

The story is inspired by, and a homage to, my favorite game of the last decade. However, this story is neither a crossover nor AU. This story is set after "The End of the End" (but before "The Last Problem"), and is purely a My Little Pony story. Warning: rudeness and intolerance are not allowed in the comments, but spoilers are. Exercise discretion. Remain polite and on-topic. And please enjoy the story!

One small change can alter everything you know. One small change, no matter how seemingly insignificant, can change the entire course of history for the better or worse.

Enter Maripony, the Enclave soaring overhead as a monstrous entity screams its death throes, it and the Enclave force annihilated by the Stable Dweller. Very few Enclave escaped that day and lived to see their final fall.

But what if a single officer, in another timeline, had their sky carriage malfunction, thus causing them to miss the departure? Small, insignificant. An officer who had very little to add to the story of the Lightbringer, who was to die a meaningless death in a balefire blast. But if they survived...?

War Never Changes. But the world has.

Long ago, the Seraphim granted power to the Doom Slayer that he might conquer the forces of Hell. The Doom Slayer has won, Hell lies defeated, and now he returns to the Seraphim's holy realm. Wanting to impress his best friend and bolster his own reputation. Discord takes a human from earth and changes him into a colt. But not just any human, a human who knows about the show itself. Thus begins a symbiotic relationship where Anon gets to experience life in Equestria as a young child while Discord can use him for his own plans. Of course, the information of Anon's origins are to remain a secret. And this of course, along with Anon being quite the manchild, creates all sorts of hi-jinks for both him and those around him. Though, considering his adoptive father is Discord. Chaos is all part of the course.

The story is mostly slice of life. Especially at the beginning. But as it goes on, things become more chaotic and life tumbles down into chaos for our good Anon. Everything from dealing with the queen of the changelings to even getting his own chance at soviet Glimmer. All that and more in this story.
