This is the story of Harmony Muse, or simply Harmony to her friends. A young transpony, she never speaks of her past before coming to Ponyville.

Finally, she decided it was time to come clean to those who've welcomed her to her new home, and to tell them about her past.

Fair warning in advance, folks, I have positively zero clue how long this story's going to run, if i'm going to do multiple chapters, or what precisely.

Also, I apologize in advance for not having any of the fancy cover art other authors luck out on. While I consider myself a passable writer, I couldn't draw to save my life.

Ever since she was born, Aria was different. She was always different from all the other mares. For starters, she was physically a he, not that she wanted to be. In her day, transgender ponies don't get the acceptance they would like, but nopony can change how Aria feels about herself. She'll keep being herself for better or for worse.

This story is currently undergoing many changes. I'll be unpublishing all non-reworked chapters as of editing this description, only to publish them again when I've gone through again.

After a spell changes your gender, you have to learn how to cope with the sudden changes, but at least you don't have to do it alone.

Rainbow Dash is a well-known pegasus mare in Ponyville, but her parents know her as a colt, Sonic Dash. When they come to visit, she must confront both her parents and her friends with the truth of her identity. Will her parents accept her as their daughter instead of their son, and how will her friends handle the secret she has kept from them for so long? A story about family, gender identity, growing up with the wrong body, and, of course, friendship.

Fluttershy comes out to the rest of the bearers of the Elements as a trans mare. This story follows what happens next: with her, with the mare she's fallen in love with, with the Mane Six, and with respect to their friendship.

This was (and remains, for that matter) my first fic, and was an attempt to apply concepts of transgender identity to Equestria. I felt like a world as accepting of, well, everything as Equestria tends to be would be a fascinating place to explore identity. I hope it worked!
