Forced by circumstance to leave his home, Goldwreath is thrust into a life full of perils and tragedies the like of which he has not asked for -- after all, he'd simply wanted to spare his people from suffering. Now he faces entities of power far beyond anything he can imagine as the war-born and barbaric tribes sweeping the empire. He must gather his wits and put his training to use if he is to save the city of the sacred Seven Hills from the forces seeking its destruction. Broken Thorn only ever wanted to serve honorably, to work for the betterment of Equestria in the royal guard and serve Princess Celestia.
That didn't work out so well when the Balefire bombs dropped right in the middle of his first mission.
Two hundred years later he finds completing his mission to be the least of his worries. Stranded in the wastes with no friends, a pair of wings he doesn't remember getting and too many questions.
Being an Alicorn is tough.
But being the only Alicorn stallion?
Needless to say hilarity and chaos follow.

When Doc awakens in Stable 85 he has no memories. Soon enough he is thrust into the North Equestrian Wasteland, where danger waits to devour him at every turn. Can he find a path of light through the darkness and stay true to himself, even when he learns the truth of his past?

Broken Record was tired of being asked to do everything by everyone. As part of stable 17, she had been torn of her loving job as radio mare and made the stables new Overmare. She doesn't enjoy her life, but knows that she will one day get the chance to hand the job off to someone else. Most likely someone she considers more qualified. That changes though when an earthquake brings destruction and death to almost everypony except for her and her friend Carrot Cake.
With nowhere to go she leaves the comfort of stable 17 and makes her way out into the Wilderness, the only area of Equestria that has not been affected by mega spell radiation. Even here though, things are unsteady. Tension between the Wilderness and NCR is escalating and a group of ponies known as "sparks" are causing havoc for both sides. With no way out, Broken Record finds herself thrown into a battle for the Wilderness' freedom and the safety of a home she never even knew.

The Massacre of Princess Luna's School for Gifted Unicorns set ablaze the coals of war with the zebras, bringing out the near end of the world.

That is not to say however, that everything in the school died in the pink mist.

I have only read FO:E, Duck and Cover!, and Starlight[ to chapter 15 any way.] So if i upset some ones plot it's not intentional.
Despite this being a FO:E story it has connections with my Stories in Stone alternate verse. Thankfully since there is so little on Littlehorn valley this story is possibly canon with FO:E itself....... or at least the wiki..... ]
