After reading about Daring Do's failed attempt to secure an ancient artifact, Twilight and Rainbow Dash take it upon themselves to find it in her place. Unfortunately, not only do they find it, but by reading a passage from the book, Rainbow Dash accidentally unleashes a curse which causes everyone in Ponyville to speak in puns. This, of course, drives Twilight up the wall, especially since she's the only one who seems to notice.

Back in Tartarus after his latest defeat, Tirek is cursed to spend countless years within the worst prison imaginable. Luckily for him, Discord is here to change that. With the magic of friendship and board games, Discord becomes Tirek's new roommate, and thus his newest thorn in the side as well in a bid to reform him.

Now Tirek's imagination is stretched to its limit with just how horrible Tartarus can really become.

When Sombra, ex-ruler of the Crystal Empire, is discovered alive and well, Twilight has her hooves full keeping the tyrannical king in check. Pinkie takes the job, and gets right to work in helping Sombra become a better pony. Will Sombra finally change from his old, wicked ways and reform? Or will he instead strangle the annoying, pink menace known as Pinkie Pie?
