Retired Princess Celestia writes a goodbye letter to Twilight Sparkle, before embarking with Luna on a journey.

There is something not everypony knows about Alicorns.
It is that they, too, have a time where life leaves them.
Now, exactly one hundred millennia have passed. One hundred millennia since the beloved rulers of Equestria first stepped hoof in their world.
Now, Princess Celestia and Luna have to step down from that oh-so-high position.
As hard as it may be, to give their final wishes to the land they love like a child,
it is time for them to say:

Cornered by Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends, who just got their Cutie Marks back, Starlight Glimmer thought Twilight was ready to "bore" her with a friendship speech.

However, thinking of how Starlight interrupted her earlier friendship speech attempt by yelling at her to be QUIET, Twilight wasn't planning to give a speech this time. Not least, not quite like the ones you would usually think of.

This may not end well for the former ruler of "Our Town" if she doesn't start running!

This takes places in part 2 of the season 5 premiere...obviously.

In time, all of Twilight Sparkle's friends have had to say their last goodbyes. And as the last of the original Cutie Mark Crusaders passes on, the Princess decides to send her off in grand fashion.

But after the party, the tears, and her newer friends have moved on, and Twilight is all alone once again, somecreature she once thought of as a friend decides to visit her for tea.

Memorial, or Desecration? Twilight might just have to decide tonight, on the loneliest night of her life...
