My attempt at a more serious 'Luna meets Neil Armstrong' storyline. What would really happen, both on the moon and on Earth? Inspired by 'The Eagle has Landed' by CyanBlackStone.

Princess Luna has found herself on a very different moon after some strange force interfered with her banishment. She doesn't know what the metal objects that keep orbiting and sometimes landing there are, but she wants to find out. Meanwhile, Neil Armstrong believes that being the first man on the moon will be the crowning achievement of his life. Hoo boy, is he ever in for a surprise.

Chrysalis's plan might've failed in Canterlot, but she has a plan B.
To have a changeling/pony hybrid (thanks to a late night with Shining) and use the child's powers for her own doing.
But when a regular earth pony (that almost looks like Shining) spawns with absolutely no changeling features or powers whatsoever, she realizes that, not only will she bring it to the father, since she has no idea how take care of a pony, but that that was her last shot at getting food for her subjects. Her plans at helping her children have failed one too many times now.
Maybe she shouldn't try anymore...Maybe she should just...give up...give up and take this abomination away from her so she can finally end this!
Unless the child and his step parents can change that.

Evil fiends from a time long forgotten emerge and some ponies begin to understand their powers as sages. But the one important question will be: What will Epona choose? Her friends from Hyrule? Or her family from Equestria?

This story is a sequel to World of Tanks

One year after the incident, the ponies are now rebuilding their lives after the 'steel-killing' machines used their country as a killing ground. However, they will now find out that the terror is not only limited to the ground.
