Of course, for those determined to die human, Equestria is forever out of reach; those people would far rather have their true and just eternal reward, in Heaven.

This story is a sequel to Running

The gryphon, Angus Greenquill, has a job he hates, a kid that loves him, someone that wishes he (Angus) had never been born, and a desire to change things and actually do something he likes without failing miserably at life.

Octavia is a pony running away from success and fame, wanting to start anew without the expectations others had of her, from her family to her friends.

Maybe he can help her get a job, and she can help him realize his own dreams.

Note: This story picks up the Octavia from the story 'Running', although it's not in any way the definitive continuation of it.

And then, in a flash of heat and unbearable light, it ended.

Now you are alone. The rest of your kind are dead or scattered, and you cannot hear their thoughts.

There is a void inside you. A gnawing, endless hunger you cannot escape. It is killing you.

You need love to survive, but there is none of that here. Not for you. You can only steal it from them, these ponies for whom we are hungry.

Breezy Beach is a travel writer with a stalled career and an editor that doesn't return his calls. A small farming town like Ponyville doesn't carry the same romantic flair that a tropical beach or the sand dunes of Saddle Arabia does, but it pays for rent and cider. Without anything to tie him down and no responsibilities, Breezy is confident he has the bachelor life made. Nothing could take that away from him.

They all define everypony in different measures. Sometimes the feeling is positive... and sometimes... sometimes it gets to be a bit much.

We all make mistakes.

Some are easy to fix. Some are not. Some create such turmoil in our lives that it seems we will be swallowed up by them.

When a wounded monster, like nothing anypony has ever seen before, wanders out of the Everfree Forest, Lyra Heartstrings, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy get a lesson in what happens when we try to run from our mistakes.

Written for the 2014 Most Dangerous Game contest, with the prompt "A Human in Equestria". Finished 12th out of 66 entries.

To celebrate Tirek's defeat, Pinkie has a huge party at the Friendship Castle. During this party, Fluttershy says how she wishes she had a foal, but doesn't think she'd be a good mother.Twilight tells her she'd be a great mother and that, if Fluttershy had been her mother, she'd have been a great one to her. Pumpkin, hearing this, casts a spell, just as Discord, for a joke, is about to turn Twilight into a foal for the night. When Twilight wakes up the next morning, she finds she's become an alicorn foal and fluttershy is her mother.

They both remember that that isn't how it use to be, but other than Discord and Pinkie nopony else seems to remember it and, for some reason, Discord can't reverse the spell. What will they do now?
