Warning: The following story you are about to read contains mentions of violence, death, the afterlife, F/M, M/M, sex (don't panic, all the characters that do so will be 18, consensual and mentioned breifly), talk of sex, suicide, and figuring what to do with eternity. If you are uncomfortable with one or many of these things, you know where the exit button is.

Neither Gallus nor Sandbar expected to die so early, but at least it was dying while saving the world. With their lives over, all that they expected was a simple slip into darkness for eternity. Never did they imagine that what awaited them was paradise for their deeds and actions.

Of course, one doesn’t just accept or come to terms with their sudden death. Especially at such a young age. There are regrets, questions, and discoveries about oneself that come with the prospect of being welcomed into Heaven. Some of these experiences can be welcoming and others can be sorrowful moments in an otherwise bright and happy world.

Yet, perhaps the biggest experience is one that will see the two bond past the flames of friendship and into the waters of love. After all, everything is possible in the afterlife.

Long before the war, the lands of Equestria were knitted together with a blanket of steel rails and wooden cross-ties, tracks that stretched to connect every major and minor settlement across the country. Even after the destruction wrought by the balefire bombs and megaspells, the tracks that tied Equestria together remained vital, and as the world recovered from the apocalypse the technologies needed to bring such a massive form of transportation and communication came with it. While the trains that ran following the megaspells rarely carried similar cargo to those that ran prior, the payments for the irreplaceable service still flowed, for better or worse. Those who held strong objections to hauling the newer commodities of a post-apocalyptic world rarely lasted long in the railroad business, and even for those who managed to avoid pulling those trains, it's most always ultimately delaying the inevitable...

Set during roughly the same canon as Gamma Deekay's Fallout Equestria: Long Haul, recommended reading to understand a few of the nods and moments seen, and a few locations as well!

Just after graduating from the Neighvaro Military Academy, Private Cumulonimbus is tasked with tracking down his father, who has gone Dashite. Things go awry when a horde of migrating dragons rips off his wings. Permanently grounded, he must rely on the ex-slave, medic, mare, named Looker, the cursed son of a raider boss, named Cap Stash, and a malfunctioning virtual pony named BONK to complete his objective. But there is still one question: Why did his dad do it?

This story is canon to the Audio Files Series fics Unscrewed Audio Files and Brittleshine's Quest Audio Files, but is not directly connected and reading those fics is not needed to read this fic. It is also formatted like a regular story and not like the other fics in the Audio Files Series.

This story is also canon to Gamma Deekay’s and Digital Ink (AKA Sawyer)’s series of connected fics. It falls after The Long Winter, but before Better Days.

Equestria's a big place. Big enough for history to forget about the little wars that raged across every mile of the wasteland. Wedged between New Appleloosa and Fillydelphia, Pinewood Valley is always drenched in bandit blood as gangs vie for territory, wealth, and power.

One bandit, a zebra named Phisa, has just been betrayed for the last time. She was close to the top, only for everything to come crashing down in a heartbeat. On the run and out for revenge, she must assemble her own rag-tag group of outcasts to fight back against her old allies and claim her place as the toughest, most feared bandit in the Pinewood.

A short little one-shot, explaining the importance of words in the Wasteland. Sometimes, they're more important than anything else.

Disclaimer: There's been no proof-reading and no editing to this. It's all off the cuff.

New Vanhoover was never a big place or a big deal. It's just a small town in the Southeast area of Vanhoover with only a hand full of settlers. But each one has their own quirks, personalities, favorite type of beverage (mostly), and they come from all walks of life. Some are big and some are small. Some are cheery and some are grumpy. It's a melting pot of races and individuals making a living in this small Wasteland town. And each one has their own story to tell.

A collection of short stories that take a look into the lives of the residents of New Vanhoover.

Autumn Mist is not your average twelve-year-old unicorn. She has recently been accepted into the most advanced magic school in Equestria, located in Littlehorn Valley.

Misty's thoughts are on an Equestrian hero this day. She shares with her friends her own hopes and dreams of one day being just like her idol. As doubt creeps into her mind, Misty must reconsider her concept of what being a hero truly means.

When tragedy strikes at the school, how will this affect Misty’s view of her heroine? Is a pony still a hero even if they can’t be there to save everyone?

A normal night of exploration goes south - quite literally - as two friends since foalhood wind up crash-landing far from their home, left with only their wits, their clothes, and their own company in a strange, new land north of Vanhoover. With a far more populated and dangerous wasteland before them, and their entrance certainly not having gone unnoticed, they race to get back home - though with their mode of transport out of commission, and the weather getting worse by the day, their chances of seeing their fathers again grow slimmer and slimmer.

Empty Quiver is a sequel to Occupational Hazards - it isn't necessary to read beforehand, but it is highly encouraged!

From neighboring stables, a pair of unlikely friends find themselves thrust into a wide, frightening new world, ripe with dangers and exciting adventures in store for them. Between the new friends they'll make on this expedition, and the new challenges they'll face in the irradiated icebox the North Equestrian wasteland is, they have to decide for themselves just how much it was worth it to leave their homes.
