In the meantime, they’ll also have to earn the trust back of everypony in Equestria, survive Twilight’s hormonal outbursts, deal with Black Cat’s antics, endure Trixie’s sarcasm, and work up the courage to take the next important step in their lives.

Evil creatures raising from the underworld, a national sports event, an entire other dimension—what will cause the newly-married Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry to be apart next? Well, now that they are reunited after Princess Twilight received her new castle and role, hopefully nothing.

This story is the sequel to A Guard and a Princess. It is written in third-person, and occasionally includes the footnote style of The Celestia Code, a story that I would highly recommend if you like Twilight Sparkle. It also takes place after season 4 and Rainbow Rocks, with a little bit of a timeline mix up that you all will surely ignore because you are awesome people. It does contain minor Rainbow Rocks spoilers.

After a bad date with Trenderhoof, Rarity returns home to her sister. Before long they are joined by an unexpected visitor. Said visitor turns out to be none other than Spike, the dragon that has been infatuated with Rarity for years now. He has come to give her a little speech, and ask her for the only thing he wishes more than anything else—

Spike needs to get out of Ponyville, and when an advertisement for an affordable travel package finds its way into his mailbox, he jumps at the chance. Little does he know that he isn't the only one who took the offer. What will come of his chance meeting with this beautiful mare? Friendship, or something more?

After only five minutes of marriage, Twilight comes to her senses and realises that Flash Sentry is actually really, really boring. It's time to lawyer up and get a divorce!

To navigate the complex Equestrian legal system and not lose all her money, Twilight needs the best lawyer in all of Equestria. Unfortunately what she has is Fluttershy.

Rainbow finds herself in a tragic accident, an accident resulted due to her bravery, loyalty, and love for a single stallion. But even when death seems so close, these two won't waste a moment without one another.

Emotions, memories, and secrets will be revealed to the two ponies, and new feelings will present themselves in the form of a blossoming flower.

But when fate creeps in, so close you can taste it, the question dawns us. Even after the death of one we cherished...

Has the love we shared die along with them?

Newly-together couple Vinyl Scratch and Octavia have just spent the night out on the town. Vinyl blasted their favourite nightclub with major wubbage while Octavia discovered a new drink at the bar. Now Vinyl has to escort home a marefriend more drunk than she's ever been, and in her intoxicated state, Octavia says just a little bit too much.
