Dust is dead. Or more specifically, dead for a second time. Or third, if you looked at it the right way. The important point was that he was dead, but now he's not...again. Although now he's surrounded by technicolour ponies. And there's an entire war currently headed for him. What will he choose to do now that he has no ties to the land he is currently in? Will the voice of Jin prevail or will Cassius finally have his way with the world around him?

A crossover with Dust: An Elysian Tail (which I honestly just finished less than 30 minutes ago as of writing this (there are still tears in my eyes and there will be until the sequel comes out)). I know I'm going to screw this up a lot and I want to know what you guys think about it as I write. Warning: contains spoilers for both the ending to Dust and events throughout the game. Do not read if you plan on playing the game and actually completing it.

Fidget had gone from being Gaurdian of a Sword of Elysium, meeting someone named Dust, going on an adventure, to now being in a place nowhere in Falana. She doesn't want to go anywhere without Dust or Ahrah, but she's alone. She'll have to be brave and venture out to find her friends, or get caught up in an even crazier adventure! With two prophecies at once that were supposed to be hundreds of years apart, to near death situations, and even an ancient evil! Not knowing if she can trust anyone, can she cope with her most dangerous adventure yet?

Strange symbols have started appearing all across Equestria that nopony can read, except Discord. As he comes to grips with what this message means, he is determined that nopony find out its secret. If they do, absolutely everypony in Equestria will die.

This story is a cosmological crossover with The Three Body Problem trilogy by Cixin Liu, and thus contains spoilers for that universe. But can be read without prior knowledge of that story.

This is a fic based on the Time Loop Files, the format of which was first codified by Innortal on fanfiction.net.
Here's a brief guide.
The basic idea is, one character (the Anchor, usually the main character of a fictional setting) is looping back to the very first moments of their parent series every time either they die or some kind of time limit expires. They of course end up monumentally stir crazy given enough time.
Eventually others start to loop as well.
The reset is not always perfect. Sometimes a loop's history will be different to the "prime" loop, or canonical plot.
"Crossover" or "Fusion" loops also occur, randomly. These can involve the home loopers having a guest, or the anchor for one universe spending time in another, or replacements of one character by another.
Vacation Loops are where the Anchor (or others) decide/s "buck it" and lets off steam by doing whatever comes to mind. There's little or no attempt to maintain the original timeline.

In addition, and particularly more recently, it should be known that this story has a collaborative element to it - people may submit loop ideas or loops, ideally at the Spacebattles thread (a link to the current version of which is on the Trope page), and they may become included.
