Fluttershy had become Equestria's resident villain reformer. So, reforming a now powerless Sombra should be easy, right? Well, there's more to it than that. Take one magic-deprived unicorn, mix in some serious emotional baggage, and you get a disaster.

This road won't be easy to walk, but it's one she has to take. That much remains clear.

It has been several years since the events of Lord Tirek. And during that time several expeditions to the Crystal Empire were made, or to be more precise its surrounding area. But the harsh conditions of the North prevented much of the expeditions and they were cancelled. But one eventful month an expedition team took the chance. The object they were looking for, the horn of King Sombra, a powerful conduit for dark magic. Unfortunately for them, the horn was casting a dark spell in secret.

When Starlight Glimmer sabotaged the first Rainboom, she inadvertently created eight broken worlds. In this the eighth world, Chrysalis, Sombra, and a resistance led by the new Element bearers wage war against one another for control of Equestria. Princess Twilight Sparkle has tasked Starlight with restoring harmony, hope, and love to this version of Equestria; but with so much war, death, and destruction, can life ever return to the way it was supposed to be?

History Reimagined follows the path of a hypothetical eighth fallen timeline not depicted in Friendship is Magic.

Well-renowned unicorn theives, Starlight Glimmer and Sunset Shimmer, follow a mysterious map to the fabled Crystal Empire, the lost kingdom of the Crystal Ponies.

But their plot to steal it's riches gets a little complicated when they are mistaken for goddesses of Equestria, sent to protect the Empire.

This is the story of an alicorn, an insane unicorn king and his allies, and a unicorn filly. This is also the story of the world's newest alicorn, and how she is connected to it all.

As the personal protegee of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Luna's life is more than crazy enough for a unicorn of her age. Balancing her studies and putting up with her hard-partying pegasus sister is enough to keep Luna up most nights with little or no social life to speak of. But as the only one who believes the legends that Tirek the Terrible is returning and the only one who actually cares enough to stop him, it doesn't look like Luna is going to be getting any sleep anytime soon.

Which is just as well, because she keeps having the strangest dreams about a life she half-remembers; a life of long nights spent as Princess of the Moon and a terrible catastrophe that befell her kingdom. But those are just dreams...right?

With the fate of Equestria resting on her shoulders, Luna must unite a group of unlikely allies to stop Tirek, save the world, and solve the riddle of her nightmares before they come to life.

Mayor Mare has sent Twilight Sparkle to open and manage a exhibit for a bit. She goes to the Crystal Kingdom to find some artifacts for the display cases, mainly crystals, and stumbles upon what looks to be King Sombra's horn! After returning to Ponyville, with the horn, strange things start to happen to Twi. She becomes rather obsessed with it, and feels different.

Ten years after Twilight Sparkle became a princess Equestria is at the edge of a war. Many innocent ponies are killed in the most horrifying ways and the Elements and Princesses can't seem to find out who did it to the ponies. But when one of Equestrias most loyal and trusted turns against them and joins the dark side almost everyone loses hope.
