As Gallus continues to try and explore the uncharted waters of being a special somegriff, the demons from his past rear their collective heads. Thankfully, Gallus has someone who loves him at his side, and she is more than happy to help him wade through a past of painful memories. A lifetime of clawing one's way through life eventually takes its toll though, and the only thing worse than losing everything, is losing it all after coming from nothing.

When a diplomatic meeting at Mount Aris is attacked by an unknown force, Gallus and Silverstream are whisked away behind enemy lines. As a new empire sinks its teeth into peaceful soil, the winds of war begin to howl. With nowhere guaranteed to be safe, Gallus once again has to fight with every fiber of his being;

Months after Sombra had surrendered to the Crystal Empire, Cadence and Shining decided if it's possible to reform one of the most notorious villains in Equestrian history. At the same time, Shining starts to get suspicious when the ex-king asks for paper daily but never see what he does with it. Deciding to investigate, he finds the remains of a manuscript that, after cleaning the ash with a spell, he finds that it turned out to be a novel written by Sombra in which gives him a window into his thoughts and feelings towards him.

Following the return of the Crystal Empire, Twilight begins some intensive research into the history of the Empire and its late king. Modern historians know next to nothing about the enigmatic dark mage. Who was he? Did he have family? Loved ones?

The answers to those questions changes everything the Element of Magic knows about herself, and in doing so catches the attention of a shadow that yet clings to the frailty of life...

Twilight has just opened her school for all creatures to attend, only for the EEA to shut it down. Starlight brought her out of her rut, and Twilight's ready to open the school again... only for her star students to be missing. With threats of war on the horizon, the missing students need to turn up fast.

Someone else, however, has other things in mind for the students. And the first step involves releasing a serious threat to Equestria. Something that only those with a select power can face.

A power that the students now have.

Sombra has returned and has control over the Crystal Empire and all of northern equestria. Most of Twilight's friends have been captured, unable to stand by and watch Twilight confronts him directly. Will she be able to stop him and at what cost?

This is something in the same vein as soarin and is just me practising writing again. Since I love writing action scenes and badass Twilight moments I wrote this. Typing and editing this took me 35 minutes so it their is any mistakes please kindly point them out to me.

Starlight and Trixie have just gotten back from a very brief roadtrip to Saddle Arabia that didn't pan out. The trip may have been a bust, but their friendship still stands.

However, the two unicorns soon find themselves confronting an unexpected visitor, Starlight's father, Firelight. He's come to Ponyville to see his daughter, largely because she hasn't visited him in months.

For Trixie, this is the first time the magician has ever encountered any family of Starlight's. But Starlight worries that her father might unintentionally embarrass her in front of her friend. Are her fears justified?

And what will Trixie think of her best friend's father's... unusual behavior?

Prince Blueblood is shocked to find that not only has yet another villain escaped the grasp of justice, but that said villain was invited into Canterlot as a guest. Princess Celestia must be completely insane to think reforming the former King Sombra is going to work. Blueblood is all set to leave untill he learns of a possible reward for aiding in the reformation. Following the carrot dangling in front of him, Prince Blueblood the 57th sets his sights on the former Crystal Despot of the North!
Or at least try to.
