Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle (EQG Edition) try to make the portal safer. This does not end well and sends both catapulting in the body of ponies into a world of danger, magic, and unending adventure. Will they survive their trip to Everglow?

The Dazzlings were once high and mighty sirens, able to feed off of the hate of other species to enhance their powers of singing and manipulating others to their will.

But after the Battle of the Bands, the three of them were left powerless, deprived of what made them what they once were, and with no way to reverse it.

Or so it seemed, as one day, Sonata catches a perfect replica of all three of their gems being sold at a nearby pawn shop. Sparing no time, the girls decide to immediately purchase them and slip them around their necks to give them some sense of comfort after their tragic loss.

However, little do they know that these gems have some rather... different powers.

When Rainbow Dash agrees to go to prom with her friends, she discovers new feelings for Fluttershy when things go wrong.

After transferring to Canterlot High, Twilight Sparkle realizes she has a crush on Sunset Shimmer. Being the analytical type, she develops a plan to capture Sunset's heart...using the scientific method.

This story is a sequel to Not a Monster 2: Under Their Spell

Our protagonist discovers what friendship means with a little help from Sunset Shimmer and her friends, and he hopes to find even more than that in one of them. In the process, he discovers a real monster.

I strongly recommend reading both NaM and NaM2 before starting this story.
Mane Six tag used only due to character tag limit. Twilight is not a character in this story.

The infamous battle of the bands brought plenty of change to Canterlot High School and our protagonist, for better or for worse. As his relationship with Sunset grows sour, he attempts to start a new chapter in his life. To do this, he turns to none other than the recently defeated "Dazzlings," even though he is almost certain the decision will end badly.

Starlight took a chance and decided to give friendship a try once more. With nowhere else to go, she stays with Twilight. Being such a powerful magic user, Twilight doesn't feel like letting her go would be a good idea. But how much has Starlight really reformed? She spent much time following the purple pony princess. Perhaps she can use her understanding of the mare towards another end.
