An ancient spell that has kept Princess Celestina's and Luna's sister disappear from all memories is on the brink of being broken. The sisters set out to find not only their little sibling, but a chain of fractured memories and forgotten dreams.

You've been studying under Princess Twilight for a few weeks now, honing your magical talent. But today, she lets you cast a spell you've never tried before. You want to please your mentor, naturally.

Sunset Shimmer has just graduated from Canterlot High School, and while that would normally be cause for celebration, it fills her only with a nameless dread as her friends begin to scatter to the winds to pursue their futures. With the latent magic of the human world contained and categorized and the Rainboom's idyllic days of schoolwork over, she finds herself without aim and listless, as though something important is missing from her life.

Fortunately for her, Princess Twilight Sparkle might know what ails her.

So. First time posting on the site after a VERY long period of lurking and reading and enjoying the tales this fandom can produce. To my surprise, I found a dearth of a certain subset of story that I wanted to read, and so I have done this, to put my thoughts to words. After all, it is said that one should write the story they want to read, yes? I've been inspired by a variety of stories like it that came before, and I hope to equal their quality.

I'll try to update roughly once every couple of weeks; please be patient with me and I hope you give this tale a once-over. Pre-emptively tagging with AU, that I might diverge freely from what may come if needed.

I remember the time when I had to worry about high school classes. I remember the time when I worried about my future family, job, and finances. After that fateful day when I passed out as a sixteen year old boy. In high school class and woke in a little fillies room with a dark voice in my head. I've had nothing but worry about whether or not that dark voice would take me over and begin her campaign of terror. I am pinkamena Diane Pie and this is my story.

A mother will do a lot for her child, even give them up if it meant them having a safer life growing up, despite the obvious pain that comes for the parent.

That pain is something Queen Chrysalis has gone through for eighteen years, but now the time is upon them, and she wants her daughter back. Even if that means invading Canterlot during a royal wedding.

This story is a sequel to Princess Celestia The Changeling Queen: Stories Behind the Mask

At the Royal Wedding, Chrysalis and the Changelings were revealed to all of Equestria.

But another mask was torn away that day. A mask born for a thousand years. A mask created on one promise. A mask, that has become synonymous, fused, to its bearer.

A mask that when ripped off, causes Twilight, her friends and Luna to question everything they ever knew about the one pony, one very important pony.

At the Royal Wedding, the meaning of the phrase 'Princess Celestia' changes forever.

NOTE: Chrysalis is NOT Celestia!!! That'd be impossible to pull off.

After finding Discord hiding out in his closet, Twilight Sparkle soon learns the most horrible of truths about herself and the world surrounding her.

And then she learns another truth.

And another. And another. And...

Twilight and the rest of the Mane 6 have gotten bored. They have spread friendship throughout Equestria, but now there is nothing to do. Suddenly, the map shows a completely new island to the girls, and they have to go and deal with the friendship problem there. On the way, they'll encounter strange and wonderful new friends, and a very different foe than what they've ever encountered before.

Rated Teen due to slightly vulgar language, scenes of suggestive gore and suggestive themes
