After the events of Lies and Lyres, Spike is ready to let Rarity know about his relationship with Lyra. She says she's happy for him, but does she really mean it?

When Rainbow Dash wakes up to find herself sharing a bed with somepony—or rather, somedragon—she knows she's going to have an eventful day. Determined to put the whole ordeal behind her, she agrees with Spike to forget the evening had ever happened.

However, things have a way of coming back to haunt you, and for Rainbow Dash, it may not be what she asked for at all.

No matter what anypony else says, offers or threatens, and no matter what it costs her personally or professionally, she is determined to stay by Octavia’s side and do all she can to wake her.

But four years is a long time, and no matter how many fairytales end with the princess waking up, real life owes no-one a happy ending.

This one has the gore tag because I didn't want to skimp on any details. (It's honestly not that bad though. Think early Mortal Kombat games.)

Rainbow Dash dies and discovers that the afterlife is stranger than she could imagine. With guidance from her new boss, she finds plenty to do to keep herself busy as an angel.
