Rarity has been asking Rainbow for months to go to dinner with her. It is obviously a date, but being the classy unicorn she is, she beats around the bush, not being to blunt, and waiting until Rainbow accepts of her own will. Rarity and Rainbow Dash are about as in love as two ponies can be. Every once in a while, they do something utterly exciting and amazing. Between those moments, they live their lives just like any other couple does. These are some of those between times.
Basically, when a little idea for a Raridash scene comes to mind, I'll be adding to this. Updates will come whenever something comes to mind.

This story is a sequel to Flying Sky-High
So much has happened in the past year. Friends have been made, battles have been fought, and love has bloomed. Now at long last, Rainbow Dash has the chance of a lifetime: a chance to become a Wonderbolt and instantly be part of an elite squad. However, one of the key judges for the tryout is none other than her love: Soarin. He is bound by his profession to be fair and honest in his selection. Will their relationship give Dash an edge in the tryouts? Or will it strike her down before she even gets there?
Also what of the dark magic within Soarin? He's kept quiet about it for a while, but not all is as well as he lets on.
And what of the Shadowbolts? They scattered after the battle with Nightshade. Surely they didn't just disappear.
A story of remaining strong in the face of harsh challenges. Life and love can be tough, but strong hearts always find a way to prevail.

This Fic's length is a bit intimidating, but it is broken into four parts, each of which could be considered their own stories with clear beginnings and conclusions. I decided to keep it all together because it was how my outline was structured (aka i completely underestimated the length).
This is not a Gurren Lagann Crossover. The title was a coincidence. (But said coincidence has led to many references and characters that parody the anime)

Rainbow Dash needs a favor, She just needs one of her friends to help her with a small little lie she told. It's really not even a big deal, over and done with in no time. Like barely a cliff note in their day, nothing major. So why did she call a meeting for this? And why does she look nervous?

Holding in emotions is never good. Keep them buried for too long, and eventually they burst out at the wrong time. Both Rarity and Rainbow Dash have a secret they have been hiding from their friends, specifically from a certain shy, animal-loving pegasus mare. They've finally decided to come clean, but neither of them counted on the other revealing the truth, much less at the same time.
Now Fluttershy is stuck with an impossible choice between her two best friends. Can she choose one without risking her friendship with the other?
"Sex" tag due to innuendo and suggestive material. No actual sex happens in this story.
