As of 5/31/12, I will no longer be writing this story. This was my first ever attempt at fanfiction ever and I've learned so much since I ever started it that I won't come back to it.

Being a popular fashion figure, Rarity had dated many stallions of high class and fat wallets. Why, then, did she always find her dates repulsive for one reason or another? No stallion could ever touch her heart, let alone become a significant other.

There were always rumors about famous ponies, especially when it came to things like promiscuity and sexual preference, but Rarity had the most fuel on the fillyfooler fire rumor mill. Not only was she famously awful at romance with stallions, she worked exclusively in female fashion and was a member of the all-female Elements of Harmony.

The fashionista had always dismissed such silly rumors. When she really thought about it, though, maybe there was a reason she was always so bad around stallions and so comfortable around mares. And just maybe those feelings about a particular yellow pegasus during her short modeling career were more than just petty jealousy...

Join two thirds of the crusaders as they follow Scootaloo in an attempt to figure out where she lives and what her family is like, all while making wild, and ultimately wrong, guesses about their Pegasus friend.

Spirit Shine lives a mundane life in a small town. He has always struggled with being different from all the other ponies around him. He hides his true self away from others that would be quick judge him. This has stopped him from finding his special talent and having a happy life. But now he has discovered somepony that might be able to help him accept himself for who he truly is.

After rising to stardom following Rarity's first, poorly received fashion show, Vinyl Scratch struggles to adapt to the higher class of life celebrity status bestows. Her personality and own moral values do not mix with the fake, corporate ideals of her agent, and her sponsors are only interested in her as long as she conforms to their expectations. Her life is barely her own and soon she will have to decide what's more important; her existing relationships, her fame and fortune, or perhaps something unexpected in the form of a refreshingly grounded Canterlot Elite who just invited her to breakfast during the Canterlot Music Convention.

A Vinyl Scratch x Octavia story where the two Ponies involved don't instantly form a romantic relationship the moment they meet, and instead allows it to grow over time with good old character development.
