Octavia, a cellist more interested in high society and class than friendship, and Vinyl Scratch, a socially handicapped pony with anxiety issues, must have seriously pissed some gods off in their past lives. They exist to have lives of bipolarity, living through a constant series of ups and downs. They keep each other going. That is, until the forces that be take it a little too far. Would either of them ever be able to cope without the other? They say having loved and lost is better than never having loved at all, but is that really true?

Narrated omnisciently, but with a focus on Vinyl Scratch, as she is who the story is technically about. Both characters have equal screen time, I'd say.

Okay, so this is Griffonstone. Yeah, I know what it looks like. Shut up. You dweebs couldn't do any better. Anyway, I'm the griffon who's gonna make it like the big deal it used to be.

Every new initiate to Starlight Glimmer's town has to spend the first week with the founder in her cottage. There's a deep dark secret to this, of course. Fluttershy's about to find out the hard way.

Cheerilee decided that she would allow each pony in her class to choose what the nature of their homework should be. That was her first mistake.

The second was to think that Scootaloo was serious.

Dark Star was terminal and childless. Star was desperate for a son to take care of his wife after he passed away. He would do anything to get that. No matter what the consequences were.

Sombra was a well respected young stallion. He helped around the Crystal Kingdom, worked hard to support his mother after his father passed away, and loved Amber Leaf more then anything else.

Spike just made a mistake. That's all it was. Letting his dragon instincts get the best of him wasn't really something that he could help, if Twilight reflected on the matter. If anything, it was Twilight's fault for not thinking about it. But everything worked out in the end. Spike was a kind dragon who never intended anything to go wrong. He just needed to be reminded of that.

I reckon Pinkie Pie has to be in that barrel. I saw her go in myself. But I just can't shake the feeling that if I go and open that lid, she won't be in there.
