Just something that's been stuck in my head for a while now. Alot of this will summarize some chapters of 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow Dash' but more from Soarin's POV. Rated teen for minor language...

As Rainbow and her soccer team get ready for the big game, she startes to feel weird around a certain boy she's been friends with for years. But it can't possibly mean..
Could it?

Rainbow Dash is Animado High's best sportswoman and Performing Artist. She can do anything from singing and dancing to track/field and football. The talented tomboy seems like she has a perfect life - excellent grades, athleticism, beauty, life-long friends, a loving family, close to zero problems. But, she does have one problem - she has to decide which one to do after she graduates.

Then, not too far into Summer Break, a best friend introduces the Wonderbolt Academy, and there, she can do both her dreams of being a sportswoman and Performing Artist. The best part? They have three, not one, but three openings in their Sport and Perform team, the most fun, but difficult, division in the academy. Rainbow packs her bags, applies to the academy, and even befriends some people there. But as the year goes on, Rainbow Dash will not only find her true place, but also someone to love. (Modern!Anthro AU)

EDIT (1/21/18): I hate to disappoint you guys, but I am officially canceling this story. This version, at least. I will be doing some serious heavy edits and actually think this through and outline it before I reboot it in the future, and the same goes for "Two Worlds, One Love". I've done a lot of growing these past few years, both as a person and as an author, and I will admit, looking back on this isn't exactly something I'm proud of. I'll keep this up for your viewing pleasure, though, and I promise you, when I'm not so bogged down by other projects and life, I will bring this story back to life - only better.

Written for a small group contest. (Placed 1st! Thank you all for the support!)

Rainbow Dash and Soarin are extremely unsatisfied with how they left their relationship upon parting ways. Friends with benefits sounds nice, but once apart they both realize just how much the other means to them. Unfortunately now neither are in a position to confront the other and reveal what pulls at both their hearts: Love.

Soarin may be duty bound and unable to act, but Dash jumps at an opportunity that could turn their relationship into the direction they both truly want. A story of not accepting barriers. True love exists on all levels and distances.

(Note: this story was admittedly rushed for a contest. Looking back on it now, there are some inconsistencies, such as some of Dash's abilities. The end may seem a bit squished as well. I apologize in advance)

Rainbow Dash is excited to be spending her first Hearts and Hooves Day with Soarin, but when he doesn't come or say anything Rainbow gets worried that he has forgotten. So she starts looking for him.

Rainbow Dash has promised to help Scootaloo with her flying, but will Rainbow Dash's emotions be in the way?

At the same time at the Wonderbolt HQ somepony was having a hard time with his own feelings.

I am not really happy with the first chapter and a revision is planned.

The Wonderbolts are debuting a new show in the skies of Ponyville. Rainbow Dash is ecstatic to see a performance up close and personal. But when she is left speechless by their unbelievable techniques, she begins to question her chances. Lost in her thoughts, a very unexpected surprise throws her life into a roller coaster. A story of staying true to yourself and knowing when to listen to your heart, even if it isn't the logical choice.
