I should be happy for her right? She's my best friend and she's getting married, so how could I not be happy for her? She's marrying the stallion who was just perfect for her and she'd be living close enough to visit me every so often. How could I have not been happy for her? I had all the time in the world to try and be with her, but I got nowhere. If this is what makes her happy, then who was I to oppose her decision?

I used to be a human, and now I'm a pony. I'm now Lyra Heartstrings. All I wanted is to be a pony, and my wish came true.. sort of. I have to unwillingly save Equestria. Well, I'm left with no choice, so I guess Equestria's fate lies in my hooves.

Have you ever had a dream that just seemed so real, that it was impossible to say for certain that it was even a dream at all? A dream that, despite all of its impossibilities, seemed to re-write your entire perception of reality, re-writing your sense of what—and indeed, who—you are? After all, this couldn't possibly be real, so the dream must come to an end eventually…right?
