After a long day, Twilight is ready for a quiet night keeping watch over the Princess. Or, it would have been a quiet night had the Princess not decided her bodyguard's sleeping arrangements were 'simply unacceptable'.

After Queen Rarity once more rejects the advances of one of the many noble ponies who seek her affection, Princess Sweetie Belle finds out that her sister is secretly in-love with somepony else, thus her heart-breaking streak. Alone in the throne room with her sister and the royal body guard, Twilight Sparkle, the young princess decides that she's going to find out the identity of Rarity's secret crush, no matter what.

It all started out as just another day for me as I strolled through the streets, nodding to the myriad of delicious equines passing by. However, none of these ponies piqued my interest as I craved the most delectable of Ponyville's delights. For this changeling's pallet hungers solely for the unique Perky Pink Parfait, but she's been acting weird lately. She's catching on, I'm sure of it! I know I should move on, this can only end badly, but I'm hopelessly addicted to the pony of my doom!

Warning: There are some dark themes, such as where do changelings come from. However, it is not meant to be a dark fic.

It is only tagged as Romance, because it has a bit of everything on both sides of the spectrum from sad to comedy.

I had tagged it gore since gore is present, but more hinted at, and kept to a minimum. Since I won't be making anyone hurl, or even squeamish, I went ahead and removed it.

I would have tagged it sex for really awkward comedic moments with sexual references. The best kind! But there's nothing serious enough to warrant a tag. Sorry guys the clop is over that way:

In an attempt to get away from home and see a different world, I moved to Equestria. A lot of humans have recently, so it's not unusual for me to be here. While I'm still getting used to talking horses, I never thought about dating one. I'm still not totally on board for the whole cross species thing, but it's not uncommon anymore so I don't worry about it too much. My closest friend, a Unicorn called Twilight Sparkle, has been kind enough to let me stay at her library while I search for a home here myself. Her boyfriend, who's actually a human too, and I don't get along too well, but for her sake, I don't say anything too bad about him in front of her. But I just didn't expect things to escalate between us like they did.

*This story takes place when Twilight doesn't have wings and isn't a Princess.*

A continuation after 'Three's a Crowd', Fluttershy and Pinkie stay to take care of the sick Discord. Unfortunately, Fluttershy has to leave to get more medical supplies. That leaves Discord to be watched by an enthusiastic Pinkie Pie. It doesn't go as bad as both would have thought.

Rate Teen for one or two questionable jokes.

Equestria is such an awesome place. Kind natives and friendly attitudes make it hard to ever consider leaving. And an incredibly awesome cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane adds a bit of incentive to stay, too.

But, as a human who somehow wound up in Equestria (As a pony, no less!), you knew you'd have to leave some time.

After returning to the realm of humans, you plan to return to your mundane life as an average person in college. That is, until the previously mentioned cyan pegasus appears to have come through the portal as well. And to top it off, she's been transformed into a human.
