If you told me the Infected overran the world four years ago, I'd say 'that's old news'. Humanity fighting for survival? Yep, heard it too. Getting sucked into a colorful alien planet by seemingly pure coincidence? Well...that one's new. Now stuck with anthropomorphic ponies (best way to describe these aliens), we have absolutely no idea as to what to do. All we know is that we have to return, with or without these ponies' help. Things are about to get very interesting....for better or for worse.

Note: Unlike most stories, the characters spend a LOT of time (4 whole chapters) on Earth before leaving. Rated T for violence and swearing. Mane 6 tag for general appearances, but main pony is Twilight.

Beyond the Crystal Mountains lies the Frozen North, its original name long forgotten behind a barrier of icy spires and temperatures low enough to flash freeze a pegasus. The last attempt to revisit the birthplace of ponies failed decades ago, and the princesses believe it is time for another attempt.

Two weeks after the events of Gears in the Void, Sterling Gears is still adjusting to what she has lost, but when a hero and the princesses ask her to do what she does best, how can she refuse?

The North awaits. She just has to answer the call.

My friends and I have been living in the apocalyptic aftermath of a zombie outbreak. We joined up with a larger group and helped build a machine to create a portal to a new world. We were then sent through to see if it was a good location to try and start over. What we find is both horrifying and (for some) beyond our wildest dreams.

It's a little rough in the beginning I know, writing is a learning experience.

William "Bill" Overbeck is a Vietnam War veteran and survivor of the Green Flu epidemic. Many things define Bill; skilled, perceptive, cautious, and dedicated. He was willing to sacrifice himself in Rayford, Georgia so his comrades can escape the danger of the infected by heading to the Florida Keyes.

There, in Rayford, Bill met his fate, and found his final resting place...

...or did he?

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash find themselves in another world during the middle of a zombie apocalypse.

Surrounded by death, destruction, and those freaking alarms that are on every dang door, they must fight their way to safety through the infected hordes alongside four survivors that are thoroughly confused about why there are colorful, winged horses helping them, and how they could even wield machine guns without fingers.

My life, from a different point of view I suppose, was normal. I loved my family. Nothing could separate us.Not even all the hell we went through in our lives. Friends were either real or fake, but it didn't matter. Life as a quiet teen in a highly populated city with no connections with the outside world wasn't all that bad. At least I had the internet and my music to keep me going.
I wouldn't want to change anything. I loved my life, even if my family and I struggled through our every day lives. Yup, life was good.

But this was before the Outbreak.

And before 6 colorful ponies were dropped here on this, walking meat bag, flesh rotting world.

After Spike loses a very valuable book Twilight desperately seeks a way to purchase a new copy. Hearing that the community center needs a temporary stand in for it's therapist Twilight signs up without a second glance at the contract. You see the therapy group she has decided to fill in have issues of another type altogether. Does Twilight have what it takes to cure a biker who believes himself to be invincible, A college student who's clumsiness has lead to the most unwelcome of stalkers, an IT tech who's addiction endangers others even more than himself? Or a crotchety old man who may or may not have really been in the war. One thing is for sure after 5 minutes with them Twilight understands why the last therapist took a vacation with no return date.
