"It's been three weeks. Three weeks, but it may as well have been three years, a lifetime, an eternity."

When her oldest and dearest friend falls ill, Twilight is forced to cope and reckon with the guilt and heartache that comes with the dwindling life of her favorite little dragon.

When on a visit to Malcolm in Grimsdale Woods Will Treaty stumbles across some of the last real magic in the world. Will finds himself in a different world entirely. A world where animals can talk and mythical creatures prowl.

Spike is Twilight's best helper, and best friend. He would do anything to help out with whatever Twilight, or any of his friends need. One day though, his plans are changed when he accidentally bumps into Twilight's shrinking powder jar, and spills it on himself, shrinking him down to a 1/2 an inch tall. He needs to get somepony to notice him fast, for Pinkie Pie wants to through a party at the library.

After her face and body are permanently scarred, Rarity seals herself off in her room with the lights off and drapes drawn, too disgusted by her own appearance to be seen. The only comfort she has comes in the form of daily visits from Spike, though she keeps the room dark to hide her deformities from the baby dragon. Can he convince her that she has nothing to fear; that her beauty is not limited to what she looks like?

Twilight's been dissatisfied with Spike's literary skills as of late, thus casuing her to give Spike a journal. He's not amused, but what can he do?

No matter how much he dislikes the thing, it's his duty to write in it whenever something of note happens. Little does he know that some very interesting stuff is to come...

An observation of what Spike could have wrote in such a book, covering all 26 episodes of Season 1. Also contains some pages from the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

(NOTE:This story was written when I was ten, but please don't let you turn that off! I think that the sequel, Spike's Journal 2, is better, but I am proud that I was able to gain so many likes at such an age. Enjoy!)

One day, Spike finally gets the courage together to ask Rarity out. When he finally goes to ask her, he sees something in the window that quickly shoots down that entire idea. After it happens, and he's trying to move on from the disappointment.

Rainbow Dash is there to help him out.

Spike knows that his good friend will always be there for him.

That's all she is, right?

Twilight and Spike grew up and did everything together since forever. But following the events of Magical Mystery Cure, Twilight is now a princess. She grew up first. Spike realizes he needs to catch up, and so makes a choice to do the same.

All the while, there is a secret, one that involves Princess Celestia, our favorite little dragon, and a certain sense of heritage.

After returning from the Dragon Migration, Spike begins to feel even lonelier with an empty space inside him (even though he proclaimed the ponies as his family)... All he wants is one thing really and the only pony who can give him that is a certain lavender unicorn

Spike has been rejected by Rarity after helping her for a very important client and a fashion show. He disappears shortly afterwards, leaving Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, and the rest of the gang saddened by his absence.

It has been three years since that incident, and the girls have gotten past the sadness, but still get together to remember the purple dragon every year. On this day, a new pony comes to Ponyville, and although he knows nothing of what his life was like, helps the group have more fun and fills part of the hole left in their hearts from Spike.

Idea for the fashion show goes to LordPlagus777's story Heart of Scales.

Imprisoned in the tunnels beneath Canterlot, she withers away in hunger and despair. In the castle above, curiosity leads him to a door that he is forbidden to open. When they finally meet, it is just the opportunity she has waited for. Mislead by a child's trusting innocence, Spike unknowingly stumbles into the clutches of Equestria's greatest foe. And once you embrace the darkness, the darkness never lets you go...
