Paradoxes are impossible by definition. You can't create a paradox, the universe won't let you.

So how exactly did Twilight manage to create a closed time loop?

A silly one-shot idea that popped into my head after seeing the Season 4 finale, that wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it out.

What started off as a simple conversation between sisters quickly becomes eye-opening as Celestia soon learns some more about some of the events that transpired a thousand years ago, such as the true power of Sombra, and the real reason behind Nightmare Moon's creation.

While walking through Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight and Applejack come across a crash landed meteor. Soon after, all hell breaks loose in Ponyville while Twilight's trying to put the puzzle pieces together. It doesn't help the Element of Magic when she has to deal with an alien species dropping off in the middle of nowhere and becoming her responsibility.

Meanwhile, meet Griffin Pearsons, an intelligent, foul-mouthed teenager. To his surprise, he wakes up in a bed that's not his own, in a room that's not his own and with members of an alien species that are not of his own. He soon finds himself in a slew of events that leads to the end of Equestria itself, with him stuck in the dead center of it.

Why did the meteor crash into Equestria? Where did the storm come from, and why does it seem like its getting worse? Why aren't the Pegasus ponies controlling the weather? And what are the Royal Sisters' opinions about all this?

But the one question Griffin is asking himself is,

Will he ever be able to get back home?
