That was the question the mad god asked before tearing apart countless people's lives, changing and altering their very bodies to fit the creatures of this world before dumping them upon this world.

Ever since the Colts disappeared from the Equestria Girls World, Twilight (and Discord when he can be bothered to) have been searching high, low, and in-between trying to find them. Having ruled out every place the Colts could be, all that remains is where they might not be. Getting them out of wherever they ended up will be difficult as will bringing them to Equestria. The real question is if Equestria is ready to deal with them for real this time...

He was a simple stallion, with a simple life in Equestria. That's all he really wanted out of his early retirement after he was laid off during the economic downturn. But, when unfinished business brings him back to Earth after nearly 20 years, he'll learn what happened to humanity while he was living the life of his dreams...

I tried a slightly different interpretation of CelestAI here, as having those emotions that people like to give her, but still being a cold and uncaring paperclipper AI on the inside. It's the one I've been using for my community-based rewrite of the original (based off our RP on the Discord), so I hope people like it. With Discord’s game behind them, the former Colts find themselves trapped in yet another world filled with pastel-colored pony people. This time, their mights and magics are traded in for pencils and papers as the take on the most dangerous dungeon crawl of all: high school

However, the game is not as finished as they expect. New friends and old enemies are waiting around every corner. After all, in Canterlot High you could be killed; or worse, expelled.

10 teenagers in play, with forces working in both the shadows and in the classroom towards their own ends. Is the world even in danger? I mean, it’s just high school, right?

The year is 952 and it is a golden time for the Kingdom of Olenia, homeland of the deer. Industrial revolution has reached their northern lands, new discoveries help them shape the land to be livable and trade routes to Equestria and far beyond have brought immense wealth to the land. Ships bearing the white-blue antler flag are welcome in all the harbours of the world.

Yet it is a fickle world of politics, table talk and negotiations that keep the world operating — something that young Korpi Lehto finds himself thrown into. He is made to join the Grandeur Embassy as an advisor due to his mastery of foreign languages. Not only does he need to now keep himself — and half the time his companions — safe and solve tense diplomatic issues but also uphold a noble family legacy in a changing world.

Thankfully there are many friends to be made on his adventure stretching a lifetime.

This story is based on the Equestria at War -mod for Hearts of Iron 4. However the lore is greatly expanded upon for story purposes. Some characters referenced are from the mod and belong to their creators as do the base lore, location names etc. created for the mod.

When the Deer Republic deposed the corrupt King Johan Jelzek, and heir to the throne Velvet Fairantlers renounced all of her royal titles, Chairstag Kullervo Sirola knew that war with the Changelings was inevitable. However, after the Changeling Blitz smashed through the original Manntlerhim Line, the Deer's Liberation Army knew that they could not hold back Queen Chrysalis' hordes without... drastic measures.

The Deer Republic has all but abandoned most of Olenia to dig in entrenchments only a few kilometers north of the capital city of Hjortland. It is hoped that the more concentrated entrenchments and artillery can hold back the Changeling's infantry waves and panzers. So far, the Sito Line has held fast for several years, but even the toughest of defensive lines need resupplies, and the task to deliver more ammo and other vitally needed equipment falls to members of the Hjortland Garrison.

For Katri Kolkka, a deer who has just joined the Deer's Liberation Army, her squad's delivery of needed supplies will have her trapped on the front, as a Changeling charge forces everydeer to stand and fight against them. There, she will face the horrors of modern warfare, and be forced to fight for her very survival.

Theodor Pichler knew joining the Barrow Observatory's winter crew would be a difficult position. He thought he knew the danger--freezing temperatures, gale-force winds, and terribly spotty broadband coverage. What he didn't expect was for an experimental new telescope array to interact with an unusual storm and send him screaming helplessly into the sky.

Instead of falling to his death, Theo landed in an alien world, populated by colorful horses he can't understand. What's worse: the body he landed in isn't his own, and he's not sure anything is where it should be. Having wings might be cool if he didn't have to be naked all the time...

With limited supplies and no help from the Observatory, Theo has to somehow navigate this new land, making new friends and encountering terrible dangers along the way. It will take all his cleverness, and a healthy dose of luck, if he's ever to be human again.

When the ETS pandemic started spreading throughout the world the south in the United States was hit particularly hard. The south had a culture all its own with a stronger focus on conservative political beliefs, religion, and a strong belief in maintaining tradition and culture.

Having the ETS pandemic come strongest here was one of the greatest ironies ever. Now all of what the south was is about to be upended. For Mathew, a teen from a town in South Carolina it means far more than that. It meanst re-examining who he is and who he is meant to be.

This story is considered an origin story for many of the characters in Pandemic: Picking Up the Pieces. This story is not required reading for that, but if you want to learn more about some of the characters this is where you'll find it.

Story is now complete and editing is underway. Many chapters are still pretty rough. I grew a lot as a writer as this story went on, and there is an increase in quality between the first half of this story the second half, and then the sequel.
