Trixie does not want help - She does not need help! ...Right?

Wrote this on an influx of emotions. It's short and simple, and was a pretty quick write, so sorry if it's not too good.
Still, I was listening to some music when I found that quote. Me, being the emotional sponge I am, couldn't resist.

Twilight and Trixie find themselves at a block in an experiment and so, Trixie leaves for the Everfree Forest to fix it. She is, however, unprepared for the sinister workings of the untamed forest....

What if Twilight and Trixie were both lobsters who were in love?

One would think that the wounded Trixie would appreciate Twilight Sparkle taking her in to nurse her back to health. But for some ponies, leaning on someone else isn't so easy. Their crossing of paths sets them both on a journey that neither of them would've expected...

What if Twilight and Trixie were both zeppelins who were in love? At last this age-old question has been answered!

The Great and Powerful Trixie has returned to Ponyville with a new act, much to everypony's confusion, especially Twilight Sparkle. Why has she come back to the place of her humiliation? Twilight merely wants to understand Trixie's reasoning, but she quickly becomes just as confused with her own thoughts and feelings. The answers must be in a book somewhere, right?

Currently on hiatus. I intend to get working on this again soon; I'm just searching for my muse at the moment. I love this story, I really do; but it makes me feel terrible when I realize how much better it can be. Thanks for reading and I hope you can stand to wait a bit longer, I'm not going to leave you hanging for long.

Twilight couldn't be happier for her friends. Rainbow Dash and Applejack have gotten together after their mishap in the Everfree Forest. Big Macintosh and Fluttershy have finally hit it off. And even her new friend Octavia has even found love with Vinyl Scratch! The only exclusions are Pinkie and Rarity, who are too preoccupied with parties or dresses to even care!

But...what about her? What about Twilight...who feels as if she's missing out?

There's little she can do about it for right now though, as Princess Luna herself has requested she help deal with a problem in Manehatten. Somepony has been causing serious trouble in the city that never sleeps, and Twilight isn't going to believe who's behind it all!

Can she let go of the past, look past the facade, and see a pony who's hurt, broken, and afraid?

Can she save a mare who everypony has deemed a 'Phony', a 'Failure', and a 'Dead End of Life'?

Will she hear the cries of help from a mare she thought she knew...and take a Leap of Faith?

"Live for the Future" is a narrative recounting Twilight's slow fall into love with Trixie, who is offered a second chance when Twilight spots her in Canterlot and is informed that she's homeless and has nothing left. Vignettes of Trixie's depressing past are interwoven within the story as well.

Trixie, having recently lost all her possessions during a certain Ponyville incident, manages to find a lucky job as a performer for Equestria's most anticipated holiday. While there, she discovers something precious to her survived her caravan's destruction... and is currently being held by a familiar face.

Now, Trixie's determined to retrieve what's rightfully hers. But little does she know that her attempts will set off a chain of events, leading to what could either be the greatest or the worst thing that's ever happened to her.

When the great and powerful trixie starts harboring feelings for twilight sparkle, she does the most insane thing ever. Twilight seems to have also developed a crush on the great and powerful trixie. And when trixie is caught stalking twilight sparkle, twilight invites her to a slumber party for an entire week. What will happen over the course of an entire week?
