This story is a sequel to Dungeons & Dorks

Normally, history lessons equal naptime for Indigo Zap. But the lectures about the revolution which started their country managed to pick up her curiosity. Inspired by the tales about rebels and battles for justice she is eager to start her own revolution at Crystal Prep Academy. But in her fight for freedom at the elite high school she is facing a powerful opponent. Will she and the other Shadowbolts be able to stand up against their principal? Or will Cinch smother the revolution before it even began?

On what seemed like an average and quiet day at Canterlot High, following the Friendship Games, Sunset is approached by Snips and Snails who managed to get a hold of her magic journal, discovering a secret and shameful act that she only shared with the Princess. In order to keep them from telling everyone, Sunset agrees to do as they say, which involves streaking across the school and destroying every bit of dignity she had...

Indigo Zap enjoys going out for a night of fun at the local arcade, with the other Shadowbolts in tow. And while she and Lemon Zest love it, the others not so much; they just try to grin and bear it.
Things were going well for her and her friends... that is until a stranger shows up and places bets on winning one of the "hardest" games in the arcade. Whoever wins takes the loser's spare change. In spite of the consequences she accepts, but once she plays, she wonders whether the bet was really worth it.

Will she win it all? Or fail miserably?

But by whom? As the Shadowbolts call upon their old friend Twilight Sparkle for help in uncovering this disaster, tensions run high. And it is not long until the Wondercolts fall under suspicion! But Twilight sets out to find the truth. Who killed Sour Sweet?!

Ever since her loss in the first round of the Friendship Games, Suri Polomare's life has been in freefall. The harsher students blame Canterlot High's edge on her, the reformed students see her as part of the problem, and not even her ex-best friend Upper Crust is willing to talk to her. On top of that, if she doesn't get her grade up in language arts, she'll be expelled from Crystal Prep's fashion program, but it's there that she meets her saving grace. A student desperate to make friends, who gets high marks in language arts and who--more importantly--is too new to know how low Suri is willing to go.

Who says it always has to be everyone for themselves, after all, when it's just as easy to take advantage of people like Coco?
