Trixie has always envied Twilight Sparkle's magical ability, wishing she could match her talent one day. With the incident involving the Alicorn Amulet still fresh in her mind as though it was yesterday, Trixie sets out into the woods and practices a wide array of spells, accumulating magical knowledge along the way. Despite hours upon hours of practice, Trixie feels as though it's all hopeless.

However, one of her training sessions is interrupted by a lone traveler who calls herself Starlight Glimmer. Trixie tries to find out who Starlight is, but the latter pulls her along until she reaches a path with two options, both of which have their pros and cons. Such a difficult decision was the last thing she needed.

To Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia, it is a simple surprise visit to Canterlot. Who said bureaucracy isn't exciting?

On one particular morning, Applejack wakes up and quickly discovers that something very strange has happened to her. What could have caused it?

It was a quiet, peaceful evening, no clouds in the sky and a beautiful Moon shining down on the city. Having some free time, Twilight had decided to pay Rarity a visit. Spend some time with her, chat for a while, maybe ask about the book she'd lent her. Those were her plans for the early night, a fairly standard routine for her.

Finding the unicorn drunk in her kitchen had not been part of her plans. Neither had been everything that happened after that, for that matter.

Rarity's pearls are the loveliest Sweetie Belle and her friends had ever seen. They leave a big impression on Sweetie's date, but the grown ups have a puzzling reaction to Sweetie's taste in jewelry. Whatever is the problem?

Feeling pity, you invite them into your home and learn that they aren't all that they seem.

Another monster mare story for all of you. For those of you who are wondering, Irisa is an Argapony, her appearance is based off of Argus from Greek mythology. It's a monster mare/girl concept (aside from perhaps the Gazer Monster Girl, but that's based off of a Beholder), I haven't really seen explored, so I thought I would give it a try.

Just me, trying once more to fill in those monster mare niches.
