Set some time after the events of "Crusaders of the Lost Mark", a disaster at a class field trip provides a unique opportunity for Diamond Tiara and Scootaloo to become genuine friends. A chance for the former bully and the Cutie Mark Crusaders to reconnect on good terms is finally within reach. However Scootaloo finds that being friends with even a reformed Diamond Tiara is just too much for her. In true Crusader fashion, Scootaloo and her friends resort to a convoluted scheme to save face.

Scootaloo might be no good at sums, but she knows Scootaloo plus scooter equals the fastest, awesomest, most attention-grabbing-est thing on the ground.

She also knows Applejack minus anyone actually fun to be with equals one really lame time.

And yet, spending a day with the Apple farmer and her broader Apple family seems strangely attractive to her. They might not be the most exciting of ponies, (and when it comes to cool, they're certainly the most clueless), but they have something Scootaloo really, really wants. Deep down. Something she keeps coming back for.

Not that she's going to admit it. Cos that would be seriously lame.

Rainbow Dash has a secret, a secret she had been keeping since she first started at flight camp. Now, that secret has come back to haunt her in the form of a broken and bloody orange filly, a filly she abandoned almost eight years ago. Now she is trying everything in her power to correct that mistake and be the mother Scootaloo was meant to have, but can she ever get her daughter to see her as anything but the monster who abandoned her.

Scootaloo grew up at an orphanage ran by Gerda. The old hag had clipped Scootaloo's wings last time she tried to escape. Now, under cover of darkness years later, she has finally escaped and boarded a train to Ponyville. Will she stop running from her past long enough to enjoy her new life?

A slice of life story that will follow Scootaloo from orphan to daredevil, from the Cutie Mark Crusaders to Dash teaching her to fly, and beyond!

This story is lightly self-edited and I'm aiming for a pace of a short chapter a day. It keeps me busy while my editors work on my other, more "serious" stories

Celestia and Scootaloo are homeless in a Ponyville alleyway together. They like to talk about things.

(Collab with yodajax10. Takes place immediately after "The Return of Queen Chrysalis" in the IDW comics.)

Queen Chrysalis has been defeated and driven back, all safe is once again. Yet it seems there is still one pony with whom all is not well.

Princess Celestia happens to notice Scootaloo all by herself that night, and sensing a troubled little pony decides to talk to the filly one on one, hoping to learn more about her.

Though Scootaloo is afraid to be seen as vulnerable, she decides it's okay to open up the ruler of her land. It isn't long before the two begin to have some meaningful discussions about subjects such as family and friends.

When a huge and startling event unleashes something inside of Scootaloo that even she didn't know she had, an investigation is started by Princess Twilight, enlisting the help of the other princesses, the Equestria Girls, and another.......person.

Secrets and pasts wished to be forgotten are once again brought to the surface. Action follows along. And possibly romance.
