I can't remember how long I've been alive. I can't remember my birthday. I don't even know my own name. I'd like to think I had a family... but I'm not sure. All these things are meant to be important to me, things I was never supposed to forget, and yet, I have. I have taken shelter in an old castle, in a forgotten city. I do not know why I'm writing this. I suppose just to keep myself sane, but perhaps keeping a record of my activities will help me piece together what happened to the world.

Discord has watched Twilight from afar for as long as he has known her, and now he has written a letter in order to describe how he honestly feels about his one true love.

From Night came Chaos. From Chaos came creation. Then Chaos was bound by Night and her lover Day. Now when a mad goddess does battle with her ancient mentor, another goddess may be forced to release her mother's bindings...

This is something of a vent fic. It earns the “Dark” tag. Seriously. If you like happy endings, kittens, flowers, puppies, and happy ponies DO NOT READ THIS. It is dark and bitter and horrible. You've been warned.

Many years after their friendship broke apart, a war brings Gilda and Rainbow Dash back together, even if it is just for one final showdown before the curtain closes for one of their nations.

In these final moments, Gilda reflects on the reasons why she got to where she was and what changed her to do the things she did.

Discord has lived for quite a long time. Centuries as a ruler, a millennium as a rock, years as a reformed draconequus, it all gets very tiring. A nap is exactly what he needs. But when you live forever, time loses its meaning, years pass in the blink of an eye, mortals come and go like mayflies. And that's fine.
After all, any being that is truly important will live forever. Discord would never associate with anything less.

Rarity's heart is broken by a disrespectful stallion, she escapes to a bar to drown out her sorrows in cider. However, one of her dear friends is there to make everything right. Not just for her, but also everyone else in the bar.

The gryphons were not always monsters. That came later.

In the earliest days, they were our friends. They flew alongside pegasi. They shared the land with earth ponies. They studied beside unicorns. There was no fear between us. That came later too.

Time drew our people apart, but it was not time that made them monsters. They made that choice themselves; they chose their fate. And it was the greatest gryphon who sealed it.

This was an idea I had in my head for the longest time. Read the story before this as it kinda spoils the whole tale but I always liked to imagine Discord using the most extravagant and over the top ways to write to Fluttershy. He seems the type to want to impress, and the idea of Fluttershy sending cozy, laced letters in fine writing and getting these magical lands within paper from Discord just seemed to exotic and strangely heartwarming not to make a short story about it.

This is probably a oneshot, unless people really want more letters.

We all know the story of Princess Celestia sealing away discord by turning him to stone, but what happened to his daughter, Screwball? Was discord really as evil as we thought he was? Maybe to a certain little filly, the evil one was Celestia.
