After sending Luster to Ponyville, Twilight's friends remind her of the horrible truth apparent on the surface. That she will outlive them someday because Alicorns live longer or forever. But Twilight points out ways for that not to happen and she takes it rather dark.

Rarity just learned Li'l Cheese doesn't know what a book is. Twilight will arrive in Ponyville soon. This calls for desperate measures.

A bored Rainbow Dash walks into Twilight's office looking for something to do and somepony to do it with. Twilight, reluctant to go with Rainbow, decides to humor her friend and their little quest to try to catch lightning in a bottle. It soon gets out of hoof and the two need to clean their mess before the whole town gets caught up in it.

When Rarity accidentally nicks Twilight during a fitting, she discovers just what alicorn blood can do, properly applied.
