William is a human that suddenly appears in equestria. He doesn't know what's going on, but somehow the ponies immediately recognize him by his name, and take him to meet the princess.
He didn't do anything yet, and everypony already knows his name, or that's what he thinks.
Situated in the middle of season five.

Death is the equalizer of all mortal souls, so it is only right that an immortal princess—the princess of the night—is the one who guides these souls to their eternal home. Before each of these ponies crosses the threshold, they are automatically sent to the dream realm, where Luna grants three of their most fervent wishes, some of which are heartbreaking, uplifting, or both. This is a collection of stories of a few of those departed souls, both young and old, and the princess who gave a peaceful journey home to all of them.

A thousand years ago in Equestria, Luna's frustration and desperation has been building for years and years as her social and political isolation grows, but just before Luna's jealousy and resentment can turn into murderous hatred against her sister, a new event triggars Luna's mental collapse and pushes her over the edge. When Luna by circumstance finds herself alone in Celestia's room she reads her sister's diary out of curiosity and discovers all of the disparaging criticism that Celestia has leveled at her over the years about how much of a nuisance Luna has been to her, but has been too polite to say directly to Luna's face.

Luna and Celestia had always supported and stuck with each other all their lives. Even when the common-ponies critisism and shunning of her was at its worst, the knowledge that her sister loved her kept Luna going. The realization that nopony, not even her own sister valued her or thought she was fit for the throne completely shattered whatever remained of her fragile psyche.

And so Luna just gave up...

She gave in...

If no one wanted her there...

Then she wouldn't stay there...

She would leave.

When Pipp is awoken in the middle of the night by some racket downstairs, she finds her sister is also awake. Something is clearly troubling Zipp, but Pipp is shocked to find out what it is.

Can she help her big sister overcome these doubts about herself?

(Takes place between Chapters 2 and 3 of MYM)

Luna is a mare of routines if only to survive the guilt. Her most important routine is waking up in the afternoon and contemplating her life. It's a moment of clarity and repentance, or at least that's what Luna thinks. One fateful day leaves Celestia's duties in her hooves and overthrows such routines. Is this punishment or a chance to change?

Sunset Shimmer's life was good, she had plenty of friends and greatly enjoyed where she had eventually ended up in life. It's a shame then that reality had a different opinion on where she belonged. Now stuck in the past prior to first leaving for the human world, Sunset will have to figure out what kind of direction she wants to take in life this time around.

After all, the future she herself lived with her friends was not reachable without doing things that she now found appalling. Even so, she knows that staying in Equestria could very well doom the world to a much darker future. If she had time to draft a plan she could probably figure out something that would keep herself out of the way while also not affecting the timeline, it's a shame then that the two princesses of Canterlot would just not leave her alone!

Apparently this thing got feature mere days after publishing... somehow.

Whenever Luna asked Celestia to build a snowmare with her, they never seemed to have the time.

And then their time together was lost for a thousand years.

The summer after their first year of college, Sunset and Twilight are living a happy life together. Twilight has moved in to Sunset's surprisingly spacious apartment, and, for the first time in her life, is sharing a bed with another human being (well, unicorn-turned-human, but close enough). And despite some initial misgivings, life with her longtime friend-turned-girlfriend has proven to be a rather easy adjustment.

But both Sunset and Twilight, with quite a few stressful memories apiece, are prone to some bad nights of sleep. And when Twilight finds herself suddenly awake in the wee hours of the morning, her bedmate clearly distressed and in the grip of a nightmare, she knows what she has to do, what she and Sunset have so often done for each other:

Cuddle.

It has been two years, and last two christmas, ever since that dreaded nightmare, Sunset Shimmer has been doing quite okay and that experience made her friendship with the girls becoming stronger and stronger.

However, what they didn't know is how much they hurt Sunset since that time that got her lose her head while they're not looking. And it made her seek help from a proffessional to keep her sane without losing it.
