A few months after being accepted into the Unicorn Academy, Lyra begins to struggle with her magical studies. Feeling like she's not cut out for the Academy, Lyra's ready to give up. Lucky for her, Bon Bon's not about to let her quit. Bon Bon does everything she can to help her best friend, and together they slowly discover something that wasn't there before. But it isn't as easy as either of them hoped it would be.

Ever since she was a filly Lyra Heartstrings dreamed of a filly as sweet and as amazing as her and her father's favorite treats. And every time she fell asleep she lived the life of Bon Bon, the filly of her dreams.

Ever since she was a filly Bon Bon dreamed of a filly that she drew. One that had the color scheme and body that she thought was the personification of her favorite flavor. And every time she fell asleep she lived the life of Lyra Heartstrings, the filly of her dreams.

Watch their journey as two dreamers, dream their dreams, and question where the line between reality and dreams being and end.

I had this sitting on my laptop for almost half a year now. So I thought that I would post it up.

Bon-Bon has the biggest crush on Lyra, her roommate and best friend. However, Bon-Bon has been too afraid to tell Lyra the truth for fear of destroying the strong bond they already hold.

It is the day before Hearts and Hooves day and Bon-Bon has decided that she will ask Lyra out on a date. Bon-Bon decides that she can't take it anymore and must let her feelings for Lyra out in the open.

Bon-Bon decides to follow Lyra around to get ideas on what they could do for their date, if Lyra says yes that is.

A joke, a mishap, a kiss. To anypony else it would be just that, but for Bonbon it is the catalyst for the worse thing ever. It was a joke, she couldn't possibly feel that way towards her best friend, right? One little peck couldn't ruin their friendship, right? Besides, Bonbon and Lyra will always be friends and nothing more....right?

Lyra had always gazed upon her friend in a special way, but she doesn't know if Bon Bon looks the same way as her. Still, Lyra cannot wait any longer with her feelings bottled up insider her. She WILL reveal her feelings for Bon Bon to her; Lyra just hopes she doesn't embarrass herself in front of Bon Bon in the process and risk ruining any chances with her.

(This is a first time fanfic, so any constructive criticism is very much appreciated)

Bonbon has been trying to get to know Lyra for years, but the unicorn refuses to show her true self or accept Bonbon's advances. When Bonbon discovers that Lyra is leaving town without even saying goodbye, Bonbon decides to follow, no matter how far they must go or how hard Lyra protests. Rainbow Dash tags along as a guide, paid by Lyra for her services, but the tight-lipped Wonderbolt appears to have her own motivations as well.

It's all secrets and lies, but Bonbon is determined to get to the truth, even if it takes her to the end of the world. And it just might.

Lyra has spent the last six years drifting all over the 'Verse looking for work. Usually she can find it, but sometimes the universe can be a dangerous place. Luckily, she doesn't have to face it alone; she has a good crew at her back and a dependable ship to call home. As long as she can stay out of trouble, life is good.

Unfortunately, staying out of trouble doesn't get her paid.

BonBon and Lyra always have considered each other the best friends that they would ever have. However, when Lyra starts dating somepony else, this brings up feelings BonBon didn't know she had for Lyra.

After 6 months, BonBon's feelings have only grown, and knowing Lyra didn't feel the same way broke her heart. To help with these feelings and that sadness that they brought with them, BonBon sees a therapist, which is where the story starts off.
