Through the power of modern technology, they find a way to restore their father, Solaris, to be able to speak to them once more. As it turns out, this might not have been the best idea.

Flash Sentry knows how much it hurts to get dumped after a long-term relationship. His time with Sunset Shimmer wasn't the best, but it still hurt when it ended. So when he finds out that Timber Spruce got dumped by Twilight Sparkle, he knows what he must do: He's gonna help Timber out of his funk, get him back on his feet, and get him back in the game. Because that's what bros do.

Flash Sentry has gone missing. Sunset is desperate to find out what’s happened, and contacts Twilight to ask about the Flash in her world, but it seems as though nobody else really cares.

After confessing her feelings to Flash Sentry and discovering he returns them, they try something. A couple of weeks into their, well, relationship, Twilight Sparkle finds a prompt generator, normally used for fanfiction. Because of these new developments, she puts her name with Flash Sentry’s and sees what it generates for her.

What comes up catalyses a few turns in their relationship.

Shining Armour is eating a sandwich.

Sunset Shimmer and her friends receive remarkable news: Princess Twilight is poised to become the queen of all Equestria! As the girls celebrate the invitation to their friend's upcoming coronation, Sunset's horrified to find that she's not just selflessly happy for her best friend. If not princesshood, what's she meant to do with her life anyway? What's her destiny in the human world?

As Equestrian Magic grows more powerful due to an ominous, inter-dimensional rip in space-time above Canterlot High, Sunset's friends are affected by a dangerous, new magic and she's left to wonder if she's done more harm here than good.

This story is a sequel to The Exes Club. Helpful, but not required reading. Themes and ideas introduced there are developed further here.
