What happens when a writer moves on, leaving a character behind? After years of writing his overpowered OC Nightshade, an author decides to retire the character, leaving her in a strange, empty white space forever. When she sees him writing new adventures about a mundane earth pony she is furious, but also heartbroken, and begins to reflect on her life.

Applebloom goes searching for her big sister Applejack and when returning with her from Ponyville Applebloom finds her self in a emergency from a falling tree and breaks her leg. Applejack then realized that she wanted to give the love that she gave to Applebloom to a little one of her own but she is declined this from happening.

There are many academy records in the Wonderbolt Academy, and Spitfire loves getting cadets to train hard and shatter those records.

There is one record she never wanted to see broken: the Academy Death Record. In the ten years since she became a captain and began training cadets, the Wonderbolt Academy has never seen a single pony die in action. That record was broken today when a malfunctioning piece of training equipment took the life of one of the newest recruits... and a personal friend of Spitfire's.

A young Redheart finds herself as a soldier in a war she wanted to go into, facing enemies she wanted to face, together with her friends and comrades. But when all is said and done, she is happy that the rain falls on the trenches.

When I was little, I came to understand the true meaning about a particular trait of mine. I don’t like to talk about it much because I’m just not much of a talkative pony. Or, well, I’m not anymore, but that’s beside the point. It’s just something I find difficult to talk about, much less explain, because unlike what I see, it’s not all black and white. It’s not like anyone could truly understand my condition anyway.

Well, except for maybe her.

Once upon a time, in a land far far away—oh, who gives a crap.
All you need to know is this: There’s this big school in an equally big city called Academy City. (Original, I know) And in that school students are graded based on a level system. Twelve is good—Like, “Celestia on a good day” good—one is bad.
I’m level one.
Woop-ti-doo.
But that’s not the worst of it, nope. I have to deal with a math-crazed freak, a nihilist that’s far too happy for her own good, a time manipulator who can’t manipulate her way out of a cardboard box, and, to put the cherry on the cow patty, high school life.
