The Great and Powerful Trixie returns to Ponyville, nine months after the events of the Alicorn Amulet, but this time she’s not back for revenge. In fact, Twilight Sparkle barely even registers on her radar. Trixie’s actions while under the influence of the Alicorn Amulet have come back to bite her in the flank.

Sweet Apple Acres is going to be receiving a visitor, and maybe, a little something extra.

Takes place between seasons 4 and 5.

The original idea for this story was… conceived by the great and talented writer Crystal Moose. My Humble and Meager skills were used to finish this story past chapter 5, so please forgive me for mutilating Crystal Moose’s concise prose with my florid non-sense.

Bulk Biceps liked the time he spent with Fluttershy while qualifying for the Equestria Games. He liked it so much, he’s set his eyes on her.

First, he’s going to have to get past her friend. He’s a nice stallion, why wouldn’t she accept him? It isn’t like he’s just trying to bed Fluttershy, a mare who can’t say no. He isn’t just being friendly as a ruse, so he can add another notch to his bedpost, right? After all, a big, strong stallion like him must have to beat off the mares with a stick. He certainly doesn’t have an ulterior motive. He isn’t a violent, evil, red-eyed stallion with a lecherous heart.

Fluttershy is sick. Her animals need to be taken care of, her house needs some serious cleaning, and she needs somepony to take care of her while she coughs up a lung. Luckily, she has five amazing friends who are more than willing to help.

Discord wants to help, too. He learned his lesson: you take care of your friends when they’re sick. He might have learned that lesson a bit too well, because he’s going to take care of Fluttershy in his own special way.

And the rest of her friends had better butt out… or else!

After receiving endorsements from both Fancypants and Hoity Toity, Rarity’s business has taken off. It isn’t fair to Applejack, because there’s no such thing as a famous apple critic. Who else could endorse the Apple family business? Who is beloved by all, and could put Sweet Apple Acres on the map?

Why, Princess Celestia, of course! There’s just one, tiny, little problem…

Celestia… um… dislikes apples.

“I’ll be back before you know it,” Fluttershy told Twilight before leaving. Time is relative, of course. Pet sitting some adorable animals who love and dote on you can make a weekend seem like an hour. On the other hoof, pet sitting Angel for a weekend would make it feel like watching paint dry.

If the paint gave off toxic fumes and tried to kill you!

This just may be Twilight’s ultimate test.

Twilight has a brand new pair of wings. Fluttershy’s pet bird is ready to fly. Scootaloo has been waiting her entire life to take wing. With Fluttershy’s help, they might soar into the wild blue yonder. Or make a gruesome crater.

It’s safe in your bed, in your house, and on the ground. Yet, the best things in life are never in our comfort zones. You’ll never know if you can fly until you’re standing on a cliff. Of course, that’s a huge risk. You can put it all on the line to reach your dreams, but who in their right mind would take such a chance? If you fail, who’ll be there to catch you when you fall?

Ponies grow up. They get bigger, stronger, smarter, and eventually they get their cutie marks. Dragons grow up too. He may not get a cutie mark, but Spike does get a talent of his own- one that can easily be abused. One day, he'll grow bigger than his friends. He'll grow stronger than the strongest stallion. He might even breathe real fire. That day might be a little closer than you think.

The Apple family farm is in trouble. It was once underwater, but Discord fixed that. Now it’s underwater with a horrible, evil, greedy creature: a bank. Big Mac has only one day to get the bits together. After overhearing the flower mares talk about him, he gets an idea. It’s the oldest profession in the world, so how hard could it be?

All he has to do is keep quiet while he conducts business. So long as the customers are happy, and the bits are flowing, it’s all worth it. It’s just his reputation, self-esteem, health, and dignity on the line. It’s just a roll in the hay— it doesn’t mean anything…
