What is a mediocre villain to do these days? How in Equestria do you compete with the likes of Chaos gods and love-stealing shapeshifters? Ever since those Bearer brats found the Elements of Harmony and Princess Celestia's long-lost and kind-of-evil-but-not-really-in-the-end sister returned, nopony bats an eye at the small potatoes any more.

Small Potatoes himself just cannot take being relegated to the side lines any longer! He has one, glorious plan in the works, one that might finally see it - his name, that is - go down in history. He's going to do the one thing that villains all over Equestria have been failing to do since that fateful Summer Sun Celebration to stop the Guardians of Harmony once and for all.

He's going to hire somepony else to do the job for him.

[This story contains scenes about death, attempted murder, some blood and an injury described in light-moderate detail (and with a humourous bent, I'm hoping.)]

Episode tag/companion to "Discordant Harmony". Written in second person for some inexplicable reason. In the course of trying to make sure Fluttershy is impressed by his tea party, Discord discovers some things. Some of them are good things. Some of them are very much not.

A K Yearling, perhaps better known by her pseudonym Daring Do, has passed, and she left behind a legacy. Her entire vault was left to Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle, including one particular artifact coupled with an ancient mystery the adventurer never quite solved.

The Seven Sided Chest of Chicomoztok, a mysterious artifact connected to an ancient legend, one that Yearling was puzzling over in her final days. This mystery has now passed onto Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, and their friends. This one mystery will lead them on a journey that spans countless worlds, and is bigger than anything Yearling ever imagined.

They are about to discover the Realms of Existence.

This is a story about Fluttershy's birthday, the very special gift she receives, and the dark secret she learns not long afterwards.

It's also a story about Starlight Glimmer's long and painful recovery after a terrifying accident, and the emotional fallout that happened as a result.

It's also a story about Discord's visit to the Changeling Kingdom, and how drastically things have changed there - and how things have unfortunately stayed the same.

It's also a story about Thorax fighting for his life against an amalgamate of a twisted god and a dear friend.

And as all four stories join together, it becomes a different tale altogether - a tale of learning to accept things that come to pass, and the dangers of rejecting them.

I've tried something a bit unusual (for me) here. There are four protagonists, and the story is somewhat non-chronological. Chapters are listed as a number before a decimal place and a number after the decimal place (e.g. 2.6, 3.2, etc.); the number before the decimal place refers to who's the protagonist at that point in time, and the number after the decimal place refers to the "chapter" of their story. The stories seem separate at first, but will link together into a bigger picture at then end (which I haven't released, yet - stay tuned!)

Discord has one friend. One. A single tie binding him to Equestria, a lone strand of pink tail hair keeping him in some sort of line. His interest in the world's welfare may exactly equal that of his friend's lifespan -- unless there's a next generation for him to adore. And so in the name of the realm's survival, Fluttershy is going to start dating, with Equestria's greatest expert in attracting ponies as her very reluctant prison-sentenced advisor. All Fleur has to do if she ever wants to come home again is get the world's most socially hesitant pony happily married off and pregnant, while constantly keeping Discord in the dark about what's truly happening.

What could possibly go wrong?

After being exiled from all of Equestria for a crime of conscience, and with all memory of her erased, Twilight attempts to force herself back into the public eye, and expose the truth about Celestia's noble goals...

With only her name, and the research in her head, she must get back to Equestria, restore balance, or die trying. Oh, and she has Discord, I guess.

This story is a sequel to Back from the Future

Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Discord have escaped a painful fate through the use of Twilight's newly invented time machine. However, they find that the time machine has taken them two thousand years into the past, and they don't have any fuel for the return trip. Now they are searching for a way to power the machine. They will be delayed.

Pinkie Pie finds a magic button that makes instant cookies out of thin air.

Twilight Sparkle, understandably concerned and insatiably curious, turns to science for answers, and makes a terrifying discovery.

She and her friends soon find themselves in a race against time to save Ponyville, and all of Equestria, from a terrible chocolatey fate.

Also, kittens. Lots and lots of adorable fluffy kittens.

(Cookie Clicker crossover, because what better time for a Cookie Clicker crossover than several months after everyone stopped caring about Cookie Clicker?)

Starlight Glimmer finds a way to get her revenge on Twilight, only to set in motion things worse than she expected. Making it so the Mane 6 never become the Elements of Harmony, she entirely changes everything you knew about Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle's day began with assassins from the future. It only got worse with the addition of time-traveling vigilantes. The memory wipes didn't do much to improve it. And the less said about her own self's intervention, the better.

It's not been a good day for Twilight Sparkle. And if she doesn't get to the bottom of it all, the future doesn't look bright either.
