The Cutie Mark Crusaders have been friends for ages, so it's no surprise that they're spending Hearts and Hooves Day together... but they have plans for how to spend it.

Scootaloo wants to be just like Rainbow Dash, and barring that, to be like every other pony. She's ashamed of her true nature, the one she must hide from everypony or be hated and cast out, or worse. She doesn't know what she is, only that she can't eat the same way other ponies do, and she has to keep the terrible consequences when she feeds too much always hidden and never seen. But when a pony begins to truly care about her well-being, Scootaloo finds out that being loved makes it harder to keep a secret than when nopony cares about you at all.

The Kingdom of The Otters has opened its doors to the outside world upon hearing that the Storm King is gone and there is a new Princess in Equestria. Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are invited to meet with the Otter Queen and establish friendly relationships with her in order to welcome her people to the world again. Meanwhile, Spike and Scootaloo accompany them to check out the water park like city the otters live in while meeting a new friend name Daisy who asks for their help in escaping some otters after her. Together, the three explore the city and have fun.

Helping other ponies with their insecurities and nightmares has always been the job of Princess Luna, and one she took quite seriously.

However, after saving one small filly from a terrible nightmare, things get turned on their head when the filly begins helping Luna instead.

For all the triumphs and tribulations the Crusaders have faced through the years, it's commonly known they consider themselves sisters between each other.

When a certain day arrives for Applebloom though, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are asked if they'd like to meet their sister's parents, unknowing of the forever lasting impact on their bond in friendship.

Apple Bloom finds herself excited, but also strangely apprehensive for the imminent reunion.

Decommissioning comes more easily to some ponies than others. Sweetie Drops happily fell into her cover identity. Not all of her co-agents reacted similarly. Now a stallion born to risk his life for the greater good has to find a way to make that talent work with being a husband and a father.

This might be a bit complicated for fillies who are still in elementary school.
