The free men of the world are marching together to victory.

For the last 16 years, the tomboyish teenager now going to Canterlot High named Rainbow Dash lived the life of an ordinary girl growing up in the suburbs of Canterlot City. Her daily worries were usually about if she could ever beat her rival Lightning Dust in the school's soccer games, whether she could ever get over the messy breakup she had with Gilda, or finally admit that she had a crush on her lifelong best friend Fluttershy.

However, one day, Twilight Sparkle, another close friend of hers, took Rainbow as well as their other friends to the place where she was interning at: CelestiaCorp, a highly successful science and development corporation founded by the one and only Miss Celestia and her sister Luna.

When Twilight was showing them around the place, Rainbow accidentally ended up being bitten by one of the mutated spiders that the company had experimented on, altering her physiology and giving her extraordinary new abilities.

But what will she do with these new powers? Will she just use them for her personal gain, or could the brash and arrogant Rainbow Dash actually learn what it truly means to be a hero? Would she ever understand that with great power, there must always be an even greater responsibility to go with it?

The answer to that question would need to be answered soon though...for in the shadows, a deadly new villain was ready to make her grand debut...

This is the story of how Rainbow Dash became the Awesome Spider-Girl.

Time changes everything. Old friends leave us and new ones come into our lives. Now that Equestria and the other nations have been exposed to the galaxy at large, things are changing. Here are a few stories of how.

The following is a collection of one shots and short stories to bridge the gap between "Of War and Friendship" and the next big adventure as well as an outlet for random story ideas.

Set after the Legacy story line. A crew of Mandalorian commandos make a blind jump through hyper space after flying into an ambush and end up crash landing in an uncharted star system. Unfortunately for them and the races that call this star system home, the Deathwatch are close behind and looking to finish the job.

Inspired after playing a lot of Star Wars Sagas and watching way too much Friendship is Magic.

The Mane Six, Spike, and the two alicorn princesses are sucked into an alien world. They soon discover that they have been transported to a galaxy far, far from home. A galaxy which is under the control of the evil Galactic Empire and where Emperor Palpatine knows of them and wants to use them for his own nefarious purposes.

Twilight must lead her friends on their journey through a cruel and hostile galaxy, avoiding the Imperial forces and bounty hunters sent after them, trying to find the Rebel Alliance.

They may be the ponies' only hope for getting home . . . .

It has been one year since the battle for Equestria. As always, the ponies stood victorious by standing together, but at a great and terrible cost. Wounds can be healed and buildings rebuilt, but the cost of life was high indeed.

Now is the time of peace and ponies eagerly await to visit their new human allies. Fluttershy and Applejack step into the stars to teach them the ways of agriculture, as no one matches the Equestrian labor ethic. Even as they settle in and make some new friends, the that darkness festered as wars were won and lost in the shining megalopolis of Magnasanti. Something breathes in the dark. Something is coming, and it fully intends to humble pony and humans alike.

It has been one year since the invasion of Avol failed and the subsequent surrender of the dratali. Since then, the galaxy has seen peace like that which many had never seen. The races of Avol have been in negotiation with the races of the Alliance of Sapient Races. Now, Twilight Sparkle, her friends, and a few others are leaving their homeworld. While the others leave to forge a path in the stars for their fellow pony, Twilight returns to Earth with her boyfriend, Curt, to begin a project of her own; a guide to help ponies better adapt to very different culture.

Not long after their arrival on Earth, though, her plans take a dramatic turn. Between Curt's proposal to the discovery that humans have been developing magical abilities, the nightmare pony has her hooves full. No matter what, though, she was determined to come out on top, publish her book, teach a new race magic, marry the man of her dreams, and prove that even a nightmare's dreams can come true.

A sudden and powerful magical event consumes all of Ponyville in the space of a few moments, and when Twilight and her friends come to, they find the landscape around them quite different. And the world they discover, to be devoid of magic and inhabited by strange beings.

One of these beings is Asher Burgess, the oldest son of the family whose secluded, Colorado ranch has suddenly become the location of an entire town of alien creatures overnight. Their lives are changed forever as they find themselves the link between the ponies and their own nation.

Bewildered by this new world, things start getting more urgent as more of the Equestrian world arrives piece by piece, and not all of it is so friendly. Searching for answers, Asher, Twilight, and the rest of the gang stumble onto more questions, and uncover an amazing secret. One that could either save them all, or doom both worlds to annihilation.

(Set just after the events of season 3 finale. Diverges from there, movie has no effect.)

It has been nearly sixty years since humanity witnessed the devastation of a World War, or any other kind of large-scale conflict. Equestria's abstinence has been even longer, with battles that rage across the entire land not being seen for centuries. Though both have seen their share of small-scale skirmishes, a duel of total annihilation across a large scale has been avoided by both sides time and again.

But peace is never lasting. For both sides, it lies on a cliff, requiring only one good push to send the participants into a plunge of death. Equestria's unexpected appearance may turn into that final push, as alliances, deception, and distrust threaten to launch a conflict that will lead both worlds to utter ruin.
