This story is a sequel to Say Goodnight, Pinkie

It’s the toughest assignment Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie have ever had: throwing parties for twelve days straight during the Hearth’s Warming Season at the royal court of Canterlot. Celebrating the founding of Equestria and the anniversary of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna’s reign is plenty of pressure on its own. But with Princess Twilight micro-managing over a thousand years of tradition, clashing expectations, jaded aristocrats, and a royal sisterly quarrel brewing, it’s just possible that somepony’s not going to be very happy during the holidays. Why is it so difficult to get Pinkie alone? Why does Cheese feel so stupid in traditional historical attire, and why won’t it stay on? And why is his Cheesy Sense going dangerously haywire?

Part of the CheesePie story arc: falls after Say Goodnight, Pinkie. Image is Fancy Night Out, by dragonfoxgirl: used by permission.

It all began with an unexpected birthday present: the first he’d received in years. Now as he wanders Equestria, moving from party to party, Cheese Sandwich reviews books from a peculiarly particular party pony perspective.

These “reviews” of the My Little Pony books, such as The Journal of the Two Sisters and the Daring Do novels, are also side stories to my main and Equestria Girls Cheese Sandwich and Pinkie Pie story arcs. You don’t have to have read those to enjoy these or vice versa; curiosity about the books and a fondness for party pony shenanigans will do.

Flash Sentry’s a nobody, and he knows it. But when a mysterious fortuneteller hints at his path to greatness, he determines to embrace his destiny—and to bring along a famous journalist to record the details for posterity.

Story canon-compliant up through the end of Season Four. It stands on its own, but it occurs after Slice of Life. In relation to my other CheesePie stories, it falls just after Goodbye, Boneless and just before Good Morning, Beautiful. Oh, yes, and implied CheesePie, although this shouldn't be a big surprise.

Inspired by a blog post by Elric of Melnipony, and a prompt suggestion by Sweet Al Belle.

This story is a sequel to Goodbye, Boneless

Cheese Sandwich keeps a lot of his thoughts to himself when he's around Pinkie Pie. For a party pony, he's still awfully shy. But today he’s going to slip up, think out loud when he’s barely awake, and say a lot more than he meant to.

Pinkie Pie is always happy to see her friend Cheesie. And this time, it’s not party pony business; it’s a really real visit just to see her! He’s so much fun to play with, and he thinks the nicest things about her, but she wishes he’d say some of them. Listening in is starting to get awkward.

This is a sequel to "Goodbye, Boneless." Technically, if you're trying to read in sequence, it also falls after "Flash and Trend Steal All Your Waffles." CheesePie, of course.

This story is a sequel to Great Expectations

There is one birthday Cheese Sandwich never forgets: Pinkie Pie’s, and the three little ponies who share it with her. He never misses throwing their party—but the guests of honor are never there, and nopony ever blows out the candles.

Sequel to Great Expectations, and an alternative ending to Triple Threat. Note the Tragedy tag. This fic legitimately deserves it, so consider yourselves warned.

This story is a sequel to Good Morning, Beautiful

Everything’s changed between Pinkie and Cheese since last night, or maybe not —he still isn’t sure. One thing hasn’t changed, though: the Cheesy Sense that pushes him to throw parties all over Equestria and make ponies happy wherever he goes. Will their common destiny as party ponies pull them together, or pull them apart for good?

CheesePie: set immediately after the events in Good Morning, Beautiful.

When Cheesy Sense calls, Cheese Sandwich has no choice but to obey it, throwing parties and spreading laughter wherever he’s needed. This time is different, though. Pinkie is having a very hard pregnancy, and he doesn’t want to leave her. Between keeping an eye on Pinkie and trying to convince her friends that he’s not just being a nervous husband, he has a lot on his hooves. And on top of that, he’s got the suspicion that there’s something Pinkie isn’t telling him.

This fic is a partner piece to Triple Threat. You can consider it a sort of prequel to that and to another fic, Triple Slam. It’s out of continuity from my other CheesePie work, meaning that it isn’t a certain look at their future at all.

In the magical realm of Good King Sombra, two magistrates dispense justice with a smile on their lips and a song in their hearts.

Inspired by the stained-glass windows in the AU Mirrorverse in the IDW comics arc 17-20, “Reflections.”

Starring those paragons of impartiality, Justices Flim and Flam, the Elements of Fairness, with an appearance by the benevolent rulers of two worlds, Good King Sombra and Princess Celestia. Good Sombra/Celestia. Comic book canon up to issue 18.

Note: The lyrics are all original. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad one is up to you.

Chapters (1)

In the mirror universe of Equestria, King Sombra rules as a wise and good monarch, with one great secret. He loves the Princess Celestia, one from a different universe, as kind as his world's is cruel. He has loved her patiently for over a thousand years, and would continue to do so, if the cruel Celestia had not begun slowly to destroy his kingdom and his ponies.

She has offered him an almost irresistible temptation: to give her the key to that other universe, and to have his princess in exchange. He has always refused, but now his most trusted advisors beg him to accept. Can he oppose their temptation as well?

Based on the Reflections Arc of the IDW comic series, 17-20; set just before and just after the action of the arc, and just after Equestria Girls and before Season Four of FiM. Spoilers for the arc apply.

This story is a sequel to Swear On Camembert

Cheese Sandwich is having a hard time distinguishing between the Cheesy Sense sending him to throw parties all across Equestria, and some other mysterious force that keeps pulling him back towards Ponyville and its pink Permanent Party Pony. He's fighting it as hard as possible, but when his career literally bombs, he may have no choice but to give up---or give in. Either way, he has to ask Pinkie Pie for her help.

A Hearts and Hooves Day sequel to Swear on Camembert. Cover art by FillyBlue: used by permission.
