Not many things in Trixie's life have gone well. Her trips to Ponyville have been proof of this. But for six years, everything that could have gone right did, and she loved it. But do these things ever really last?

Everything was taken away from her, little by little, piece by piece, until there was nothing left. Seeing as the future holds nothing but pain for her, she's decided it was finally time to take one last trip to where it all began.

Trixie has changed a lot- instead of trying to scam yet another pony, she's in her apartment. Bored while it rains. To keep herself from dying of boredom, she begins thinking about her marefriend.

Left alone, Trixie ruminates over the recent state of her relationship with Twilight Sparkle, a Princess of Equestria. As the solitary evening drags, her feelings conflict, and a few glasses of wine do little to aid in her equanimity.

It's been about 3 weeks since Trixie had come to Ponyville, and even after all that time, something is still wrong with Twilight, and nopony can figure out what. When Luna comes to Ponyville to visit, everything goes totally wrong...

Days after Tirek's near-takeover of Equestria, The Great And Powerful Trixie travels to Ponyville, intent on settling her rivalry with Twilight Sparkle once and for all. No trinkets to fudge her abilities, no megalomania to apologize for -- just pure and simple magician's honor!

Upon her arrival, however, she quickly learns that the information she has on Ponyville -- and Twilight -- is more than a little dated.

Rainbow Dash learns that she has a sister, whose current whereabouts and status are completely unknown. It's not even known if she's alive.

Trixie discovers from a doctor that she has a sister who resides in Ponyville, and now has the chance to visit the family she never knew.

Trixie returns to Ponyville seeking to put things right between herself and the townsfolk. But when Twilight receives a letter from the Princess, Trixie gets the chance to live up to her previous boasting. Can she do it alone, or will she need the help of a certain purple unicorn?
