Introduction: The following Journal entries belong to James Tinwool of the 24th Royal Infantry, who disappeared the day before the Battle of the Somme in 1916. The journal was discovered months after the battle, but James himself was never found during the war. The dates in the journal correspond to before, during and after the battle, however, the journal states that he was nowhere near the battlefield. Some scholars believe that the dates between June 30th to September 5th is pure fantasy that he wrote to cope with his shell shock. James Tinwool himself, who was found years after he reappeared back in England, up to his death in 1948 always made the statement: “Everything that I've written in that journal is true. All of it.” We leave this up to the reader as well as the listener to judge on the authenticity of this story.

Apple Bloom gets out of school for the day only to be disappointed by the fact that Big Macintosh's boyfriend, Caramel, is yet again not with her brother to pick her up. Three days prior, an incident occurred at that same schoolhouse that led to Caramel shutting himself in his home. While trying to understand why, Big Macintosh finds it best to explain to Apple Bloom that some ponies are simply against the idea of the two dating. Some ponies, such as Caramel, find it hard to simply shake off the words of others. Regardless, she tries her best to understand.

How does one tell their best friend that they love them? Especially when that said best friend is Big Macintosh Apple?
This one shot is the thoughts and feelings of what Caramel goes through the stallion's head while he and Mac are spending their time hanging out.

Twilight thought that, once the spell on Smarty Pants wore off, she wouldn't have to worry about it again. However, several weeks later, Applejack comes, begging for her friend's help.

Big Macintosh has gone into a depression the likes of which nopony could've ever expected of the stallion. He's not eating, barely sleeping, and spends all his time in his room, crying as he clutches the Smarty Pants doll.

Twilight, upon hearing Smarty Pants is involved realizes what has brought Big Macintosh to this state. However, her spells won't be strong enough to fix this, so she calls on Discord, hoping he will be willing to help.

Once again, King Sombra has returned from the depths of defeat. Unfortunately for him he's been stripped of all his powers and been put under the charge of Spike the dragon. To complicate matters, Sombra discovers he and Spike are both part of something that started in a time before the alicorns, Discord, or even ponies in general.

Join the unlikely pair as they share in a series of trials and adventures that will put both of them to the test, and inevitably draw them closer together.

The story takes place fifteen years after the Tirek incident, making each character significantly older than in the show's current timeline.

A M/M story that's been rattling around in my head for some time now.

King Sombra has taken back the Crystal Empire and imprisoned both Shining Armor and Princess Cadence. Any day now, Shining expects word of their scheduled executions. Stand up straight, keep your appearance, be perfect. These are just a few things that Prince Blueblood believes is required of a common prince. It's easy for Blueblood to keep his mane neat and not make a fool of himself, but to ignore the pounding in his chest when he thinks of his best friend who married a princess... that's another story. Fancy Pants is a new seed in the garden of his life. It's hard to explain what exactly drew Blueblood to Fancy Pants in the first place, but he finds the more time they spend together the more he finds his heart pounding at the thought of the stallion.

Spike and Macintosh have taken the next step in their relationship and are soon to be wed. Spike can even enjoy the comforts of his younger days thanks to the cooperation of his friends and family. However, a startling event just a week before their wedding may upset the future they have together, or possibly make things infinitely better. Only time will tell.
