It's been 20 years that Cozy Glow has been encased in stone. She has had plenty of time to herself to think about the things she's done. Is she going to better herself from them?

...The answer is a big fat NO! Why would she ever wish to redeem herself? She could've had everything and in days it was stripped away from her, stuck permanently rooted in cold, hard stone. And through the last few decades, she's been all by herself, and has been perfectly capable of plotting her gruesome revenge... Luckily for her, she has a good idea of how to get out of this eternal prison, with or without her 'buddies.'

Regardless of how every pony thinks; Cozy Glow is going to come back. And when she does, may Celestia have mercy on your soul.

While cleaning up the Castle of the Two Sisters, Spike discovers a chest containing twelve magical talismans that grant him special powers. Using these powers Spike shows the girls and anypony else he is no longer the little helpless dragon they make him out to be. Unfortunately the original owner of the talismans has no intention of letting another use them.

Argyle Starshine returns to Maretime Bay, surprising Sunny and her friends who were under the impression that he was dead! Understandably, Sunny is thrilled to be reunited with her father. Izzy Moonbow is happy, too, but can't shake the feeling that something is off about Argyle. And when Sunny begins acting abnormal, Izzy's concerns only grow.

Three weeks after becoming Princess Twilight's pupil, Starlight discovers her mentor is undergoing a horrible existential crisis.

Princess Twilight learned of the existence of her human self, and how she was so unliked and unpopular at her school, even her principal blackmailed her. Princess Twilight fears the only reason she never had to endure these torments is not that ponies actually like her, but because she was the "beloved" student of a princess, and later princess herself, on top of her other family connections.

Starlight sits her mentor down and tells her the (true) story of her troubled past. In it, Starlight will impart on the Princess of Friendship some harsh truths about reality:

That sometimes, the bad guys can win.

That sometimes, life is unfair and ponies with connections can get ahead of you.

That sometimes, you aren't rewarded for your hard work.

That sometimes, there are ponies who don't become better people even if you show them the magic of friendship.

That sometimes, there aren't any happy endings.

But there is also such a thing as a new beginning.

This is a slight AU story in regards to Starlight's backstory and her friendship with Sunburst.

These are some of the titles assumed by Fenrir, the gigantic wolf and son to Loki, god of mischief. Bound for centuries by the Æsir, he manages to slip from his enchanted bonds to participate in Ragnarök, the final battle between the gods and the various monsters of the Nine Realms. After killing Odin, Fenrir himself is slain by the silent god Vidar, his jaws torn apart and his heart impaled. Despite this, he dies content in the knowledge that he ate old One-Eye. Death, however, is not final.

Awakening in an unfamiliar forest, Fenrir discovers that he has been reincarnated, once more a wolf pup and living in a new realm filled with...sentient ponies?
