THIS IS A SIMILAR BUT DIFFERENT UNIVERSE. I wrote this, starting during late Season 2, so I had to make judgment calls based on the information I had. As such, certain episodes thereafter do not match up, or fit in different places. Consequently, it is a very similar alternate universe. Many events happen in both this and the show timeline, but do not always match. I tried to stay consistent when possible, but certain things were lost to disagreements in interpretation. I like how I wrote my story and will not force it to match what came after I started writing. I've also decided to consider this fluidly finished. I still seem to make updates, but I no longer guarantee them.

In the future, Rainbow Dash and Octavia become 'Bounty Hunters', hunting for the heads of criminals they are hired to kill. They never failed a contract- that is, until they spotted Twilight Sparkle on their list. Now Rainbow is torn between her own survival and her childhood friend's, but when time comes- loyalty prevails. As they battle against an organisation larger than they could ever imagine, the first signs of war begin to show when intel suggests that someone is attempting to assassinate royalty.

A story that includes blades, guns, gangster hats, blood, and loyalty.

Rainbow Dash has three foals with her husband Soarin, but not before he leaves her for another mare.Though she misses her wayward husband, Dash loves her foals and is determined to give them all the love they could get from two parents, even without a father.

By the way, this is kinda Inspired by "My Little Rainbows," By thepatioheater. Read it! I command you, because its awesome.

Octavia is a high-class pony. Fine alcohol is her wont, and uncouthness her intense chagrin. Such is her surprise to find herself lumbered with an insufferable oaf of a DJ pony. However, sometimes these situations work themselves into a satisfactory ultimatum all the same.

Scribble is a young, smart, and (as much as she might hate the word) cute filly, but she has a lot on her plate at the moment. She's beginning to become a young mare rather than the young filly she was before, her mother is entering into a very serious relationship with a very important pony, and her talent isn't very much a talent. Life was never easy for Cute Little Scribble, but messy times are ahead for her.

Something I just couldn't get off my mind until I wrote it down. Be warned: the ponies in these battles really go off on each other. Almost exactly like it is in "Epic Rap Battles of History", except with less cursing. There's plenty of verbal bashing, though.

Vinyl Scratch is the DJ for most of these battles, and will be doing the all-caps commentary (except for the ones she's in, of course). OC tag because of slight self-insert.

[2nd Person Perspective]

Working as a waiter at Canterlot's various social gatherings is a nice job. Especially since you began chatting with the cello player of the usual quartet, Octavia. You've gotten to know a lot about her, but one night there seems to be something on her mind. You offer her a drink to ease her nerves and you bring your glasses together in cheers.

Next thing you know, you wake up in a strange hotel room in a town you've never been to next to a certain gray mare.
