Applejack was a simple pony, content with a hard day's work and good friends. However, fate decides she's in for a little more than that when an alien crashes into the farm and gives her a strange ring. Now, Applejack is thrust into a war she never expected, part of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lanterns. The enemy? A merciless group of warriors called the Yellow Lanterns, whose brutality is unmatched by any in the universe. Faced with a savagery that she has never encountered before, Applejack must step up and become the iron willed warrior the Green Lanterns, and the universe, need her to be.

The world of Equus is in the gates of a New Age of Magic, old evils are awakening as also new powers are being discovered with new rules being written over the old ones. At the same time the new technologies are bringing to the world all kind of new inventions changing forever the life as we know it in what the ponies call an Industrial Revolution.

With all those changes taking place at the same time, Princess Celestia thinks that is time to retake an old project of hers, an organization dedicated strictly to protect innocents. Now The Royal and Night Guards along with new departments of police, intelligence, research and defense, will be coordinated under one organization: Welcome to a new era.

(I have literally no idea of what I'm doing. Characters added as the story progress. Set in the same universe as The Doom Patrol and Mare-Do-Well Strikes! but it's not necessary to read those to understand this, they are separate stories.)

When a mysterious ring finds it's way into the Crystal Empire, Shining Armor is introduced to a universe far beyond anything he could have imagined. As he works to master new skills and powers, he stumbles upon a threat that could spell doom for him, his home and family, and thousands of other beings across the galaxy... unless he can stop it.

Set in the same universe as Mare of Steel and The Princess of Themyscira; reading those first is recommended, but not required.

A routine space patrol leads the man of steel to a peaceful planet where ponies are the dominant species. At first, the ponies seem fine with some one like him helping out and protecting the ponies. But as they learn more and more about his power, the more some begin to fear him. For what do you do against one who is like a god? Will you learn from him and become stronger? Or fear him and do everything in your power to bring him to your level?
